Hello my friends! Christmas is coming - it's October already and time is running! -, so I'm keeping on creating Holiday cards in advance. Today I'm using a stamp by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, an italian sentiment and a bunch of Distress Inks for the background. I decided to create a long-sized card and I think it will not be the last one!

Ciao a tutti! Natale sta arrivando - siamo già a ottobre, il tempo corre! -, per cui sto cercando di mantenere un certo ritmo nella produzione di card natalizie. Il biglietto di oggi è realizzato con uno dei miei timbri preferiti di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, un augurio de La Coppia Creativa e un bel po' di Distress Inks per lo sfondo. Ho deciso di provare a realizzare una card "lunga" e penso proprio che non sarà l'ultima!

First of all I picked a piece of watercolor paper and I blended Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks. I set it aside to dry and then sprinkled some water drops on it.

Come prima cosa ho preso della carta acquerellabile e ho sfumato i Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire e Black Soot. Ho lasciato asciugare il tutto e ho spruzzato dell'acqua per riattivarli.

Then I stamped the Pine Branch multiple times on the edges of the panel with Versamark Ink. I covered everything with white powder and heat embossed.

In seguito ho timbrato l'immagine Pine Branch più volte sui bordi, utilizzando dell'inchiostro Versamark. Ho coperto il tutto con della polvere bianca e ho embossato.

Finally I heat embossed the sentiment (which means "Peace & Joy") on a strip of black cardstock.

Infine ho timbrato e embossato, sempre in bianco ma su del cartoncino nero, l'augurio de La Coppia Creativa.

Hello stampers! Today I'm up on Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps blog with a Christmas card, because it's never too early for Holiday cards - every single year I try to mass produce in advance, let's see what I'll do this time. For this project I chose purple, white and silver colors, with a bit of ink blending and heat embossing.

Oggi sono sul blog di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps con una card di Natale, visto che non è mai troppo presto per i biglietti di Natale - ogni anno provo a produrre tutto in anticipo, vediamo cosa riuscirò a fare stavolta. Per questo progetto ho scelto viola, bianco e argento, con un pizzico di inchiostro e embossing.

I started by cutting a piece of purple cardstock and I heat embossed small, medium and large snowflakes in silver. I begun stamping the biggest ones on the edges and then I filled the gaps with the other ones, leaving some space in the center.

Ho cominciato a tagliare del cartoncino viola e ho embossato fiocchi di neve piccoli, medi e grandi con della polvere argento. Ho iniziato a timbrare i più grandi sui bordi, poi ho riempito gli spazi vuoti con gli altri più piccoli, lasciando libero al centro.

Then I decided to darken the edges by blending Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Inks.

Poi ho deciso di scurire i bordi sfumando Distress Inks Seedless Preserves e Black Soot.

Finally I die cut a vellum circle and a white house. I white embossed a sentiment which says "best wishes" onto the vellum piece and I glued everything together.

Infine ho fustellato un cerchio da del vellum e una casa bianca. Ho embossato l'augurio in bianco sul vellum e ho incollato tutto insieme.

Metallic embossing is one of my favorite technique for Christmas, since it gives a bit of shining to everything!

L'embossing con colori metallici è una delle mie tecniche preferite per Natale, visto che dà un po' di lucentezza al tutto!

Hello! Today I have a dirty-fingers project to show: I finally made my first rainbow background by blending a bunch of Distress Inks. The only stamp I used for this card is the Herb 1, that I stamped with black ink all over the rainbow.

Ciao a tutti! Il progetto che vi racconto oggi è uno di quelli che ti porta ad avere dita sporche (e cuore felice): una card con sfondo arcobaleno realizzato con i Distress Inks. L'unico timbro che ho utilizzato qui è Herb 1, che ho timbrato con l'inchiostro nero sopra l'arcobaleno.

To begin with, I picked a piece of regular cardstock and I blended some Distress Inks: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Seedless Preserves. I masked the top and the bottom of the cardstock with tons of post-it.

Per cominciare ho preso del cartoncino bianco ed ho iniziato ad applicare qualche Distress Inks, in ordine: Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Seedless Preserves. Ho coperto la parte alta e bassa del cartoncino con un sacco di post-it.

Then I sprinkled some water and white ink onto the rainbow, so that Distress Inks could react.

Poi ho spruzzato dell'acqua e dell'inchiostro bianco sull'arcobaleno, così da far reagire i Distress.

When everything dried, I stamped the Herb 1 image all around the rainbow - as I did before, I used some post-it to mask the white spaces.

Quanto il tutto è asciugato, ho timbrato l'immagine Herb 1 tutto intorno all'arcobaleno - e come ho fatto prima, ho utilizzato qualche post-it per proteggere le parti bianche.

At this point I needed a sentiment, but at the same time I didn't want to cover part of the background. I decided to try the "inlay die cutting technique": I die cut some letters in order to write the word "best wishes" in italian both from foam and the background.

A questo punto avevo bisogno di un augurio, ma allo stesso tempo non volevo coprire parte dello sfondo. Ho deciso di tentare con la tecnica "inlay die cutting": ho fustellato delle lettere direttamente sullo sfondo e su della gomma adesiva.

I put everything in place, using the foam to make the letters pop.

Ho messo ogni pezzo al proprio posto, utilizzando la gomma adesiva per far risaltare le lettere.

The sentiment is at the center of the card, but at the same time the main focus is the background - which was not hidden at all! I hope you like this card, in any case we have a promotion for you: Friendship, Ladies and Love category stamps are 20% off during the month of July!

La scritta è al centro della card, ma allo stesso tempo il protagonista indiscusso è lo sfondo - che non è per nulla nascosto! Spero che questa card vi sia piaciuta, in ogni caso abbiamo una promozione per voi: i timbri riguardanti amicizia, donne e amore sono scontati del 20% durante il mese di luglio!
