Hello my friends! As promised, this post is all about Easter cards: Spring has begun in advance this year, so I am pretty inspired by bright colors and joyful scenes.

First I'm going to share my second pop-up shadow box card (more details here), filled with images by Create a Smile Stamps.

Ciao amici! Come promesso, sono qui a condividere un post completamente dedicato ai biglietti di Pasqua: la primavera è cominciata con largo anticipo quest'anno, ed io mi sono lasciata ispirare da colori brillanti e scenette ricche di gioia.

Prima di tutto eccovi la mia seconda pop-up shadow box card (la prima la trovate qui), che ho affollato con soggetti di Create a Smile Stamps.

I chose the Easter Tweeting stampset, as the eggs hanging on a string are perfect for creating a foreground and a background effect. Plus I used the adorabile little chicks with pastels.

Ho scelto il set Easter Tweeting, visto che le uova penzolanti mi sembravano perfette per mettere insieme primo e secondo piano. In più ho utilizzato gli adorabili pulcini con colori pastello.

I stamped a couple of chicks on an empty spot on the string and the one upside down is just too hilarious! I need to say that fussy cutting this particular images was quite difficult.

Ho timbrato un paio di pulcini dove il filo lo permetteva e quello che si trova sottosopra mi fa sorridere ogni volta che lo guardo! Bisogna dire che ritagliare queste immagini è stato un poco difficile.

In any case, I decided to add lots of details and images here and there, while in the center I stamped the "Happy Easter" sentiment.

As you can see down below, chicks and rabbits are my favorite subjects for Easter - a good reason to use Lawn Fawn stamps that I put aside for a while:

In ogni caso ho deciso di aggiungere un sacco di dettagli e di piccole immagini qua e là, mentre al centro ho timbrato la scritta "Buona Pasqua".

Come si può vedere qui sotto, pulcini e conigli sono i miei soggetti preferiti per quanto riguarda la Pasqua - un'ottima ragione per utilizzare i timbri Lawn Fawn che stavano chiusi nel cassetto da troppo tempo:

Any Harry Potter fan here? This interactive card is perfect for little magicians! It's been a while since Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps released these stamps inspired by Harry Potter saga and finally I was able to use them matching the interactive mechanism with a magic formula scene.

C'è qualche fan di Harry Potter qui? Questa card interattiva è perfetta per piccoli maghi - e non solo! E' da un po' ormai che Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps ha realizzato questi timbri ispirati alla saga di Harry Potter...e finalmente sono riuscita a utilizzarli, coniugando un meccanismo interattivo con una scene legata ad una formula magica.

Do you remember "Wingardium Leviosa"? This is the formula for levitating any object. In the movie, the magicians used a feather... in this card, I chose a magic potion popping from a cluster of Hogwarts letters.

Vi ricordate del "Wingardium Leviosa"? Si tratta della formula magica che fa levitare qualsiasi oggetto. Nel film, i maghetti utilizzano una piuma... in questa card, ho optato per una pozione magica che salta fuori da un mucchio di lettere di Hogwarts.

First I stamped a bunch of Hogwarts letters on a piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the masking paper.

Per prima cosa ho timbrato un bel po' di lettere di Hogwarts su del cartoncino bianco con dell'inchiostro Memento nero e della carta per il masking.

Next I stamped the big Potion Bottle, colored both images with Promaker pens and fussy cut. The secret is the size: the cluster of letters is big enough to cover the bottle when it stays at the bottom.

Poi ho timbrato la bottiglietta di pozione, ho colorato entrambe le immagini con i pennarelli Promarker e le ho ritagliate. Il segreto sta nelle dimensioni: il gruppo di lettere è abbastanza grande da coprire perfettamente la bottiglia, una volta posizionata sul fondo.

Then I took a piece of watercolor paper, I blended some Antique Linen Distress Ink at the edges and I stamped some little Potion Bottles here and there with the same ink.

In seguito ho preso della carta acquerellabile, ho applicato del Distress Ink Antique Linen sui bordi e ho timbrato qualche pozione formato piccolo qua e là, sempre con lo stesso inchiostro.

Finally I stamped the Leviosa word and I put everything together with a set of dies. For the background I chose a brown cardstock and I stamped some little Potion Bottles with a matching ink, adding some golden dots all around.

Infine ho timbrato la scritta "Leviosa" e ho messo tutto insieme grazie a un set di fustelle apposite. Per lo sfondo ho scelto del cartoncino marrone su cui ho timbrato un po' di pozioni piccole sempre con un inchiostro abbinato, aggiungendo puntini dorati tutto intorno.

I love the result, even if I'd be more satisfied if there were no mistakes during the creative process... I need to practice more and more doing interactive cards!

Mi piace molto il risultato, anche se sarei stata ancora più soddisfatta se non mi fossi scontrata con diversi errori nel corso del processo creativo...devo proprio esercitarmi molto per realizzare queste card interattive!

A couple of friends would really appreciate this card, I think that it could become a great inspirational one if you fill the inside with a supportive quote.

Un paio di amici apprezzerebbero moltissimo questa card, penso che possa diventare una di quelle "ispirazionali" nel caso venga inserita una frase di incitamento all'interno.

Using lots of foam tape helped the mechanism to work so easily. I think I'll create more and more of them in the near future!

Usare un bel po' di nastro gommato ha fatto sì che il meccanismo funzioni con estrema facilità. Penso che ne creerò altre nel prossimo futuro!

Hello stampers! As I saw this video made by Jennifer McGuire, I needed to try this very versatile and easy to made pop-up shadow box card. So today I want to share with you this type of card inspired by the upcoming spring.

Buona domenica a tutti! Non appena ho visto questo video di Jennifer McGuire, ho dovuto provare questa pop-up shadow box card, una struttura molto versatile e anche facile da fare. Per cui oggi voglio condividere con voi la mia versione, ispirata dall'imminente arrivo della primavera.

To build up the scene I decided to use the Morning Glory - set of 5 stamps, so that I could made different clusters of flowers and leaves. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink multiple times and colored with alcohol markers, following the coloring scheme of the real flowers.

Per riempire la struttura ho deciso di utilizzare il set Morning Glory, così da poter creare diversi gruppi di fiori e foglie. Ho timbrato il tutto con del Memento Tuxedo Black Ink più volte e ho colorato ogni cosa con i pennarelli ad alcohol, cercando di seguire i colori reali del fiore.

I added some dots in the center of the flowers with a gel pen and fussy cut. I did the same for the leaves.

Ho aggiunto qualche puntino al centro dei fiori con una penna gel dorata e ho ritagliato il tutto. Ho fatto lo stesso con le foglie.

Next I did what Jennifer explained in the video, cutting 2 cardstock and folding them at the edges. I used an oval die cut to create the window on the front panel.

In seguito ho fatto tutto ciò che Jennifer spiegava nel suo video, ritagliando due cartoncini e piegandoli ai lati. Ho utilizzato una fustella ovale per creare la finestra sul pannello frontale.

At this point I glued everything together, fixing the flowers and the leaves in the foreground as well as in the background for a 3D effect. I also used some foam tape on the front panel to pop the morning glories even more.

A questo punto ho incollato ogni cosa, appiccicando fiori e foglie sia in primo piano che sullo sfondo per un effetto 3D. Ho anche utilizzato del nastro gommato sul pannello frontale così da far risaltare ancora di più i fiori in primo piano.

For the sentiment I decided to heat embossed the Smiles from Heaven stamp on a strip of vellum, using Versamark Ink and gold embossing powder.

Per la scritta ho deciso di embossare le parole Smiles From Heaven su una striscia di vellum, grazie a del Versamark Ink e a della polvere da embossing dorata.

The card fits perfectly a standard sized envelope... and the recipient would be very surprised! I think this is a great idea also for Easter and Christmas cards.

Questa card sta perfettamente in una busta di grandezza standard...e il destinatario ne rimarrà molto colpito! Penso sia anche un'ottima struttura per creare card di Pasqua e di Natale.

Hi everyone! In these days it seems like I need to put a bit of gold in every single card... and today's project for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps is all about heat embossing technique with gold embossing powder. In my opinion, the details of heat embossing on vellum make it special.

Ciao a tutti! In questi giorni sembra proprio che debba inserire un po' di oro in ogni card che creo...e quella che vi mostro oggi per Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps è tutta dedicata alla tecnica dell'embossing a caldo con la polvere dorata. Secondo me, i dettagli dell'embossing su vellum la rendono speciale.

For this card I decided to combine 3 different colors: turquoise, gold and kraft. As I wanted to build a wreath with butterflies hanging around, I chose the Leafy Branch and the Butterflies Solid Lg stamps.

In questo biglietto ho deciso di mettere insieme 3 diversi colori: turchese, oro e kraft. Visto che l'idea era quella di mettere insieme una ghirlanda popolata da farfalle, ho scelto i timbri Leafy Branch e Butterflies Solid Lg.

First I stamped a bunch of leaves on vellum with Versamark Ink, covered them with gold embossing powder, heat set and fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato un po' di fogliame su del vellum con dell'inchiostro Versamark, ho coperto il tutto con la polvere da embossing, ho scaldato e poi ritagliato.

I did the same with the cluster of butterflies, but this time I used turquoise powder. Then I chose an italian sentiment by ModaScrap (the same of my previous post), heat set in white on vellum and glued on a piece of kraft cardstock.

Ho fatto lo stesso con le farfalle, ma questa volta utilizzando della polvere da embossing turchese. Poi ho scelto un augurio di ModaScrap (lo stesso del post precedente), l'ho embossato in bianco sempre su vellum e ho poi incollato il tutto su del cartoncino kraft.

I fixed the leafy branches as a wreath on a kraft panel with a bit of glue, then I adhered the butterflies in the same way and the sentiment with some foam adhesive.

Ho incollato i rami di foglie con della colla su del cartoncino kraft, come se fossero una ghirlanda. Ho fatto lo stesso con il farfalle e l'augurio - per questo, però, sono passata al nastro gommato.

Heat embossing is one of my favorite technique, especially when I don't have time for coloring! This is also perfect for flowers or foliage stamps...and guess what? These stamps are 30% off during the month of March!

L'embossing è una delle mie tecniche preferite, specialmente quando non ho tempo per colorare alcunché! Tra l'altro si sposa benissimo con timbri di floreali...e indovinate un po'? Questa categoria di timbri è scontata del 30% per tutto il mese di Marzo!

After few weeks, my crafty mojo is finally back! To celebrate this great event, I created this inspirational card with supplies by ModaScrap. I love their style, especially their sentiments- and this one says "Never stop believing in your dreams".

"I sogni son desideri di felicità".

Dopo qualche settimana di fermo, l'ispirazione è finalmente tornata a bussare alla mia porta! Per festeggiare questo lieto evento, ho deciso di realizzare una card che fosse positiva fonte di ispirazione, utilizzando timbri ModaScrap. Adoro il loro stile, in particolare i loro sentiment.

First I made my own background by blending 3 different shades of Distress Inks. I took up the idea of blending these specific inks by Kristina Werner: Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire and Vintage Photo (the original choice was Ground Espresso). While I was blending these three on a piece of watercolor paper, I folded the paper by accident, so I decided to go ahed and wrinkled it again and again. Next I added some gold drops here and there.

Prima di tutto ho realizzato lo sfondo mettendo insieme 3 diverse sfumature di Distress Inks. Ho preso l'idea di utilizzare proprio questi 3 inchiostri da un video di Kristina Werner: Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire e Vintage Photo (non possedendo l'inchiostro Ground Espresso). Mentre stavo sfumando questi tre colori, ho piegato per sbaglio un lembo della carta acquerellabile. Invece di buttare via tutto, ho continuato a piegare per dare un effetto stropicciato. Poi ho aggiunto un po' di gocce dorate.

Then I took a Christmas stampset and I masked the Christmas balls to have a couple of geometric shapes. I stamped them with Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold. I did the same for the sentiment.

In seguito ho preso un set di timbri natalizi e ho mascherato le palline di Natale per renderle delle semplici forme geometriche. Le ho timbrate con dell'inchiostro Versamark e le ho embossate con della polvere dorata. Ho fatto lo stesso con il sentiment.

I glued everything on a piece of warm yellow cardbase and that's it. I love the ethereal look of this card, perfect also for men!

Ho incollato il tutto su una base dal colore molto caldo e questo è tutto. Adoro l'aspetto etereo della card, che credo si adatti anche ad un destinatario maschile!
