Hello everyone! It's been a while since my latest masculine card - I always struggle with them! So I decided to take them easy with some Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps supplies and a palette of colors with blues, kraft and grey. Plus, Masculine and Sports stamps are 20% off during this month:

Ciao a tutti! E' da un po' che non mi cimento con le card al maschile - che mi danno sempre un po' di affanno. Per cui ho deciso di mantenermi sul semplice utilizzando un po' di materiali di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps e una palette di colori fatta di blu, kraft e grigio. In più, i timbri a tema maschile sono scontati del 20% durante questo mese.

First I created my background by die cutting a piece of blue cardstock multiple times. In this way I die cut a tree shape all around my panel, that I was going to match with a kraft cardstock. Then I picked a strip of vellum.

Per prima cosa ho realizzato lo sfondo fustellando del cartoncino blu più e più volte. In questo modo ho costruito un pannello con più sagome di alberi ritagliate al suo interno, che ho poi abbinato ad un cartoncino kraft. Poi ho ritagliato anche una striscia di vellum.

At this point I stamped the hammer and the nail with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored everything with promarkers and fussy cut. 

A questo punto ho timbrato il martello ed il chiodo con dell'inchiostro Memento nero, ho colorato il tutto con i promarkers e ritagliato.

I added the handy-man sentiment on a strip of kraft cardstock and I put everything together with tape and foam tape.

Ho aggiunto la scritta handy-man su del cartoncino kraft e ho assemblato il tutto con nastro e nastro gommato.

As final touches I added some Nuvo Drops in glitter blue and white.

Come tocco finale ho aggiunto qualche Nuvo Drops, sia in blu glitter che in bianco.

I really like the hilarious match between the bent nail and the sentiment!

Vi faccio notare che mi piace molto l'accoppiata ironica della scritta e del chiodo piegato!

It seems like I have a thing for stamped background: I saw Yana Smakula some time ago and I'm keeping on playing with them because they are so relaxing! Since it's summer and ships are masculine-related, I thought to use the Message in a bottle stampset to create a card with simple design, perfect for any occasion.

Sembra che io non riesca a staccarmi dagli sfondi timbrati: ho visto quelli di Yana Smakula e continuo a crearne... li trovo davvero rilassanti! Visto che è estate e che le navi sono soggetti abbastanza mascolini, ho pensato di utilizzare il set Message in a bottle per creare una card con un design semplice, perfetta per ogni occasione.

As you can see, I stamped the ships all over my base and colored them one by one using alcohol markers. Then I die cut an oval with the Cool Cuts Stacked Pierced Ovals from vellum, I added an embossed sentiment and two papers.

Come potete vedere, ho timbrato le navi fino a riempire lo sfondo e le ho poi colorate una per una con i promarkers. Poi ho fustellato un ovale con la fustella Staked Pierced Ovals da del vellum, ho aggiunto un augurio embossato e due fogli arrotolati.

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing something different for Crackerbox Palace and So Suzy Stamps - not flower-related, I mean: a masculine card! I was inspired by the Soccer World Cup: even if Italy wasn't qualified, soccer is still particularly loved here. This little squared card is perfect for sportsmen and it looks so clean!

Ciao amici! Oggi vengo a mostrarvi una card diversa dal solito - ovvero, nulla di petaloso - per Crackerbox Palace e So Suzy Stamps: una card per maschietti! L'ispirazione è nata dai mondiali di calcio: anche se l'Italia non si è qualificata, le partite dei mondiali hanno sempre un forte ascendente (soprattutto sugli uomini)... e quindi una piccola card per uomini sportivi mi è parsa un'ottima idea!

To begin with, I stamped the soccer ball onto a piece of regular cardstock and I fussy cut. Then I die cut 2 circles and I blended them with Distress Inks: for the first one I used Brocken China Oxide and a cloudy homemade stencil, while I blended the second one with Twisted Citron and Forest Moss Distress Ink. Then I die cut the green circle with a grass border from Lawn Fawn.

Per cominciare, ho timbrato la pallone di calcio su del cartoncino bianco e l'ho ritagliato. Ho poi fustellato 2 cerchi, che ho poi trattato con i Distress: in uno ho abbinato uno stencil per nuvole a del Broken China Oxide, mentre sul secondo ho applicato del Twisted Citron e Forest Moss Distress Ink. Per finire, ho fustellato il cerchio verde con una bordatura a forma di prato.

I glued everything down and I added dimension with 3D foam adhesive and tape adhesive. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and I drew dash lines all around the edges.

Ho incollato il tutto e ho aggiunto un po' di tridimensionalità alternando biadesivo semplice e spessorato. Ho timbrato un sentiment su del cartoncino bianco e ho completato la card aggiungendo delle linee tratteggiate sui bordi.

Hello guys! Today's card is part of a new monthly challenge from So Suzy Stamps and the theme for May is quite interesting because it's all about masculine cards. You'll find more info at the end of this post. I wanted to avoid vintage look and DIY-items-related cards, so I used the Gumball Machine set Lg. Everyone loves candies, so I thought that the gumball machine would work for masculine cards too. And this one is a very simple and quick one to made!

Ciao a tutti! La card di oggi fa parte di una nuova sfida mensile indetta da So Suzy Stamps. Il tema per maggio è particolarmente interessante, visto che riguarda le card per maschietti - trovate più info a riguardo alla fine del post. Ho voluto evitare di giocare la carta del vintage o delle card con attrezzi DIY, per cui ho deciso di utilizzare il distributore di caramelle che ha fatto sognare bambini di tutte le età. E visto che a tutti piacciono le caramelle, il tema mi è sembrato adatto anche a una card al maschile! 

First I stamped the Gumball Machine with Memento Tuxedo Black and I coloured it with promarker pens. Then I fussy cut it and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I did the same for the little colorful candies.

Anzitutto ho timbrato il distributore di caramelle con dell'inchiostro Memento nero e l'ho colorato con i promarker. L'ho ritagliato e ho aggiunto dei punti luce con una penna gel bianca. Ho fatto lo stesso con le piccole caramelle colorate.

Then I took a white cardbase and I sponged a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Ink at the bottom. Next I added the images and I  stamped the sentiment near them. Final touch? A layer of Nuvo Clear Drops on the glass of the gumball machine.

A questo punto ho preso una base bianca e vi ho applicato del Pumice Stone Distress Ink nella parte bassa del pannello frontale. In seguito ho incollato le immagini ed ho timbrato l'augurio accanto ad essere. Tocco finale? Uno strato di Nuvo Clear Drops sul vetro del distributore.

Hello crafters! Today I decided to create a masculine card, which is always a challenge for me. My goal was to avoid vintage or steampunk cards, using something colorful but still "masculine". Since my father is a sort of "Mr. Fix-it", I chose a bunch of stamps from So Suzy Stamps and a color palette made of red, grey and a bit of brown.

Buongiorno a tutti! Oggi vi presento una card maschile, che per me è sempre una sfida. Il mio obiettivo è stato quello di evitare i classici layout vintage o steampunk, utilizzando qualcosa di colorato, ma pur sempre maschile. Visto che mio padre è una sorta di "Mr. Aggiustatutto", mi sono ispirata a lui e ho scelto un po' di timbri di So Suzy Stamps che ho colorato seguendo una precisa palette di colori (rosso, grigio, marrone).

First I stamped all my images on a piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I coloured all of them with my promarkers focusing on the color palette I had in mind, and fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato le immagini su del cartoncino bianco con il Memento nero. Poi le ho colorate tutte con i promarkers, concentrandomi sulla palette di colori che avevo in mente, e le ho ritagliate.

Next I took some of the smallest stamps and I arranged them onto a piece of grey cardstock. I stamped them multiple times with Memento "London Fog" Ink to achieve a tone-on-tone effect for my background.

In seguito ho scelto alcuni dei timbri più piccoli e li ho disposti su una base di cartoncino grigio. Ho timbrato le immagini più volte con del Memento "London Fog" per dare un effetto tono-su-tono al mio sfondo.

At this point I only had to stamp my sentiment onto the saw and fix all my images on the front panel with a bit of foam adhesive. To add more interest, I covered the black words with a layer of gelly roll pen. The foam is perfect for giving dimension to the tools of the card:

A questo punto ho solo dovuto timbrare il mio augurio sulla sega e ho incollato tutte le immagini sul pannello grigio, utilizzando dell'adesivo spessorato. Come tocco finale, ho ripassato le parole con la penna gel nera. Il nastro gommato è perfetto per dare tridimensionalità ai diversi attrezzi della card:
