Hello stampers! Today I'm back with a Christmas card that I made for the new Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps challenge, as the theme is "All Holidays"!

Ciao a tutti! Oggi sono qui con una card natalizia che ho realizzata per la nuova sfida sul blog di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps, che vede come tema "All Holidays"!

I used one of my current favorite technique: repeated stamping for backgrounds. This time I chose a little candy cane stamp and a dark grey cardstock, since I love how prismacolor pencils look on dark surfaces.

Ho utilizzato una delle mie (attuali) tecniche preferite: la timbrata ripetuta per sfondi personalizzati. Questa volta ho scelto il piccolo timbro con il bastoncino di zucchero e del cartoncino grigio scuro, visto che adoro l'effetto delle matite prismacolor sulle superfici scure.

First I stamped the candy cane trying to follow a sort of pattern with Versamark ink, I covered everything with white embossing powder and then heat embossed.

Quindi ho timbrato il bastoncino di zucchero cercando di seguire un motivo con dell'inchiostro Versamark, ho coperto tutto con della polvere bianca e ho embossato a caldo.

Then I coloured every candy cane using a couple of shades for each color.

Poi ho colorato ciascun bastoncino utilizzando un paio di tinte per ogni colore.

Finally I cut the panel in a half, adding two short strips of light grey cardstock in between. I placed the sentiment on a white cardbase and stamped it in red with the MISTI tool.

Infine ho tagliato il pannello in diagonale, aggiungendo due strisce fini di cartoncino grigio. Ho posizionato l'augurio su una base bianca e timbrato con inchiostro rosso e MISTI.

Hello there! I'm keeping on creating Christmas cards, inspired by the monthly challenge on Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps blog. Today I'm using the adorable snowman released last year to create a funny Christmas scene.

Ciao a tutti! Sto cercando di continuare la produzione di card natalizie, grazie alla sfida mensile di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps che tanto mi ha ispirato. Oggi ho deciso di utilizzare questo adorabile pupazzo di neve per realizzare una divertente scenetta natalizia.

First of all, I stamped the snowman and a ton of snowballs - actually they are gumballs, but it doesn't matter -, fussy cut and coloured with promarker pens.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato il pupazzo di neve e un sacco di palle di neve - ufficialmente sarebbero delle gomme da masticare vintage, ma che importa -, li ho ritagliati e colorati con i promarkers.

I die cut a piece of white cardstock with an hill border die, then I stamped the sentiment in red. I choose a pattern paper with snowflakes too and I glued everything onto a card base. 

Ho fustellato del cartoncino bianco con una fustella a bordo per colline e ho timbrato la scritta in rosso. Ho scelto una carta decorativa che contenesse dei fiocchi di neve ed ho incollato il tutto ad una base.

Hello stampers! Are you thinking of Christmas yet? I try every single year to plan and create cards in advace for Christmas, but it's...well, you know: almost a mission impossible. Thanks to the monthly challenge on Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps blog, I just created my first Christmas card for this year, since the theme is "Christmas in July".

Buongiorno mondo creativo! State già pensando al Natale? Ho provo ogni anno a pianificare e lavorare in anticipo alle card natalizie, ma... alla fine mi riduco sempre all'ultimo. Grazie alla sfida mensile sul blog di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps, ho giusto creato la mia prima card natalizia dell'anno, visto che il tema è "Christmas in July".

First I took a piece of watercolor paper and I blended it with a bunch of Distress Inks to create the sky (Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire). I also die cut landscape border full of houses and trees in white.

Sono partita da un foglio di carta acquarellabile, su cui ho aggiunto i Distress Inks dal più scuro al più chiaro fino a creare l'effetto di un cielo invernale (Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans e Chipped Sapphire). Ho anche fustellato del cartoncino bianco, cosa da avere una linea di paesaggio con case e alberelli.

Then I stamped the 3 images with snowflakes released last year with Versamark ink, heat embossing them in white. On a piece of white cardstock I stamped the sentiment.

Poi ho timbrato le tre immagini con i fiocchi di neve - realizzati lo scorso anno - con del Versamark ink, embossandoli poi con della polvere bianca. Ho scelto un inchiostro blu ed ho timbrato anche il sentiment su del cartoncino bianco.

Finally I glued everything onto the front panel, making sure that the lightest part of the sky - and without snowflakes too - was at the bottom, under the houses.

Infine ho incollato il tutto sul pannello frontale, facendo attenzione a lasciare la parte più chiara e senza ancun fiocco embossato in basso, sotto le case.

Hello there! The new monthly challenge is up on So Suzy Stamps blog and the theme is... Summer! You have until July 14th to enter the challenge using any stamps you have: we're offering to one random winner a 25$ gift certificate to be used in the store! By the way, as soon as I think summer I imagine warm colors, sunset and bold landscapes. So I created a very simple card with stamping and ink blending.

Ciao a tutti! C'è una nuova sfida mensile sul blog di So Suzy Stamps e il tema, stavolta, è "estate". Avete tempo fino al 14 luglio per partecipare con qualsiasi timbro possedete: in palio per il fortunato vincitore un buono da 25$ da spendere nello shop! Comunque, non appena penso all'estate, immagino subito colori cardi, un bel tramonto e tanti paesaggi dai toni intensi. Per questo ho realizzato una card molto semplice, che prevede timbrate e qualche inchiostro.

To begin with, I masked off a white cardbase in order to create an inked circle. I chose 3 Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral) and I blended to achieve an ombré look.

Per cominciare ho mascherato una base bianca per creare un cerchio inchiostrato. Ho scelto 3 Distress Ink (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade e Abandoned Coral) e li ho amalgamati in modo da creare un gradiente.

Then I stamped the palm tree with the Versafine Ink, using a MISTI tool for a great impression. I stamped the sentiment and I glued down a thin strip of black cardstock to cover a mistake on the left.

Poi ho timbrato la palma con l'inchiostro Versafine, usando il MISTI per avere una timbrata ancora più decisa e piena. Ho timbrato anche la scritta ed ho incollato una piccola striscia di cartoncino nero per coprire un piccolo errore sulla parte sinistra della card.

Hello guys! Today's card is part of a new monthly challenge from So Suzy Stamps and the theme for May is quite interesting because it's all about masculine cards. You'll find more info at the end of this post. I wanted to avoid vintage look and DIY-items-related cards, so I used the Gumball Machine set Lg. Everyone loves candies, so I thought that the gumball machine would work for masculine cards too. And this one is a very simple and quick one to made!

Ciao a tutti! La card di oggi fa parte di una nuova sfida mensile indetta da So Suzy Stamps. Il tema per maggio è particolarmente interessante, visto che riguarda le card per maschietti - trovate più info a riguardo alla fine del post. Ho voluto evitare di giocare la carta del vintage o delle card con attrezzi DIY, per cui ho deciso di utilizzare il distributore di caramelle che ha fatto sognare bambini di tutte le età. E visto che a tutti piacciono le caramelle, il tema mi è sembrato adatto anche a una card al maschile! 

First I stamped the Gumball Machine with Memento Tuxedo Black and I coloured it with promarker pens. Then I fussy cut it and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I did the same for the little colorful candies.

Anzitutto ho timbrato il distributore di caramelle con dell'inchiostro Memento nero e l'ho colorato con i promarker. L'ho ritagliato e ho aggiunto dei punti luce con una penna gel bianca. Ho fatto lo stesso con le piccole caramelle colorate.

Then I took a white cardbase and I sponged a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Ink at the bottom. Next I added the images and I  stamped the sentiment near them. Final touch? A layer of Nuvo Clear Drops on the glass of the gumball machine.

A questo punto ho preso una base bianca e vi ho applicato del Pumice Stone Distress Ink nella parte bassa del pannello frontale. In seguito ho incollato le immagini ed ho timbrato l'augurio accanto ad essere. Tocco finale? Uno strato di Nuvo Clear Drops sul vetro del distributore.
