Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing something different for Crackerbox Palace and So Suzy Stamps - not flower-related, I mean: a masculine card! I was inspired by the Soccer World Cup: even if Italy wasn't qualified, soccer is still particularly loved here. This little squared card is perfect for sportsmen and it looks so clean!

Ciao amici! Oggi vengo a mostrarvi una card diversa dal solito - ovvero, nulla di petaloso - per Crackerbox Palace e So Suzy Stamps: una card per maschietti! L'ispirazione è nata dai mondiali di calcio: anche se l'Italia non si è qualificata, le partite dei mondiali hanno sempre un forte ascendente (soprattutto sugli uomini)... e quindi una piccola card per uomini sportivi mi è parsa un'ottima idea!

To begin with, I stamped the soccer ball onto a piece of regular cardstock and I fussy cut. Then I die cut 2 circles and I blended them with Distress Inks: for the first one I used Brocken China Oxide and a cloudy homemade stencil, while I blended the second one with Twisted Citron and Forest Moss Distress Ink. Then I die cut the green circle with a grass border from Lawn Fawn.

Per cominciare, ho timbrato la pallone di calcio su del cartoncino bianco e l'ho ritagliato. Ho poi fustellato 2 cerchi, che ho poi trattato con i Distress: in uno ho abbinato uno stencil per nuvole a del Broken China Oxide, mentre sul secondo ho applicato del Twisted Citron e Forest Moss Distress Ink. Per finire, ho fustellato il cerchio verde con una bordatura a forma di prato.

I glued everything down and I added dimension with 3D foam adhesive and tape adhesive. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and I drew dash lines all around the edges.

Ho incollato il tutto e ho aggiunto un po' di tridimensionalità alternando biadesivo semplice e spessorato. Ho timbrato un sentiment su del cartoncino bianco e ho completato la card aggiungendo delle linee tratteggiate sui bordi.

Hello crafters! I'm up with a floral card featuring So Suzy Stamps and the beautiful peonies designed by Olesya - that is actually free with every order during the month of June!

You know that I love stamping, coloring and making cards with flowers, in particular in Spring and Summer. As I saw the peony, I really wanted to create a circular cluster on a soft background.

Buongiorno creative! Oggi vi mostro l'ennesima card floreale per So Suzy Stamps, che vede protagonista la bellissima peonia disegnata da Olesya - e che attualmente è gratis con qualsiasi tipo di ordine durante il mese di giugno!

Ormai sapete che adoro timbrare, colorare e realizzare card con i fiori, in particolare durante la primavera e l'estate. Non appena ho visto la peonia, ho pensato di realizzare una card con un piccolo bouquet disposto a cerchio su uno sfondo molto leggero.

First I stamped three of them using Memento Black Ink, fussy cut and coloured with promarkers.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato 3 peonie con del Memento nero, le ho ritagliate e poi colorate con i promarkers.

I picked up a patterned paper from my stash and I stamped the sentiment on a little strip of black cardstock. To add more interest, I also die cut a geometric shape in white.

Poi ho scelto una carta fantasia e ho timbrato la scritta su una striscia di cartoncino nero. Per aggiungere un certo interesse al tutto, ho fustellato una forma geometrica con del cartoncino bianco.

The only thing left to do was arranging everything on a black cardbase and glued down. This peony is really large: you only need a couple of them to make a card for every occasion.

L'unica cosa rimasta da fare è stata disporre il tutto su del cartoncino nero e fissarlo con biadesivo e nastro gommato. La peonia ha una dimensione fantastica: ne bastano un paio per creare una card adatta ad ogni occasione.

Hi there! Today I used the beautiful Leafy Branch tall stamp by So Suzy Stamps to create a card inspired by the one and the only Yana Smakula. I've been following her since ages and I love her clean, simple and colorful style. She often creates her own backgrounds by stamping and coloring some stamped images.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi ho utilizzato il bellissimo timbro Leafy Branch tall di So Suzy Stamps per creare una card tutta ispirata a quelle di Yana Smakula, una delle cardmaker che più adoro. La seguo da anni e amo il suo stile pulito, semplice e coloratissimo. Spesso crea gli sfondi delle sue card timbrando e colorando immagini timbrate.

I decided to do the same with this branch of leaves that I inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink and stamped multiple times on a piece of watercolor paper - not the best choice, I know. 

Ho deciso di fare la stessa con questo ramo di foglie che ho timbrato più volte con del Distress Ink Antique Linen su della carta acquarellabile - non è stata una scelta felice, ne sono consapevole.

Next I coloured all of them with 3 or 4 shades of green prismacolor pencils (I really enjoy the no-line coloring technique!).

Ho colorato poi tutte le immagini utilizzando 3 o 4 sfumature di matite primacolor verdi (mi piace proprio la tecnica di colorazione "no-line"!).

Finally I chose the "Plant a seed" sentiment and I heat embossed in white on black. I trimmed every line of the sentiment and placed them in the center of the card with foam adhesive. I mounted the panel on a black cardbase and I added some white Nuvo Drops as final touches.

Infine ho scelto la scritta "Plant a seed" e l'ho embossata in bianco su cartoncino nero. Ho tagliato ogni riga dell'augurio e le ho posizionate al centro della card con dell'adesivo gommato. Ho montato il pannello su una base nera e ho aggiunto delle Nuvo Drops bianche come tocco finale.

I love this card because I only needed a couple of stamps and a lot of coloring. The final result is clean and bright, and that's exactly what I was looking for!

Mi piace molto il risultato ottenuto perché ho dovuto utilizzare solo un paio di timbri - ma un sacco di colorazione. L'effetto è pulito, semplice ma vivace, esattamente quello che stavo cercando!

Hello crafters! Today I have no card for you, since I decided to create a little Easter treat bag with the funny egg with feet stamp from So Suzy Stamps. I also found out that, if you don't like the feet, you could just cut them off and use only the egg... or both of them, like I did here.

Buongiorno a tutti! Oggi non ho card per voi, dato che ho deciso di realizzare una piccola scatolina per la Pasqua, con protagonisti i simpatici ovetti con i piedi di So Suzy Stamps. Tra l'altro, se non vi piacciono i piedi, potete giusto tagliarli via e usare solo l'ovetto... o entrambe le varianti, come ho fatto qui.

First I stamped tree eggs onto a piece of regular cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink, in order to do some no-line coloring with Promarker pens. I decided to keep the coloring very simple, avoiding all the decorations of the eggs, but I liked the lines that you can see underneath. I cut off the feet of two eggs and I added some extra details with the white gel pen.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato tre ovetti su del cartoncino bianco con il Distress Ink Antique Linen, così da sfruttare la colorazione no-line con i Promarker. Ho deciso di mantenermi semplice, evitando tutte le decorazioni presenti sulle uova. Mi è piaciuto però l'effetto vedo-non-vedo delle linee al di sotto della colorazione. Ho tagliato via i piedi di due uova e ho aggiunto dei dettagli con la penna bianca.

At this point I die cut and assembled a treat bag using kraft cardstock.

A questo punto ho fustellato e assemblato una scatolina realizzata con del cartoncino kraft.

Then I die cut a white grass with the border die from Lawn Fawn and I fixed it to all the sides of the bag.

Poi ho fustellato un bordo d'erba con la fustella Lawn Fawn, incollandola su tutti i lati.

Finally I glued the three eggs - only one had its feet. This is a cute treat bag for chocolates, candies and other goodies. Until the end of the month Floral Stamps are on sale at So Suzy Stamps shop, check them out!

Egg with Feet

Hello my friends! Today I have something different to share with you: a sympathy card. In Italy this type of cards is not popular - in any case, this is not a card that you really want to create or give to someone -, but I tried to create one with the beautiful feather and the touching sentiment from So Suzy Stamps. Plus, this is really a quick and simple card.

Ciao amici! Oggi sto per condividere qualcosa di diverso rispetto al solito: si tratta sempre di un biglietto, ma di condoglianze. Nel mondo anglosassone questo tipo di biglietto è noto come "sympathy card"; in Italia non è molto utilizzato - e non riguarda occasioni piacevoli -, ma ho voluto ugualmente mettermi alla prova con questa card, che vede come protagonista un paio di timbri di So Suzy Stamps. In più, si tratta di una card davvero semplice e veloce.

For this card I wanted to achieve a monochromatic look and so I choose Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. I watercolored it with a large-tip brush onto a piece of regular cardstock, tracing horizontal lines. Next I took the same ink, I added some water and I tapped a brush with a smaller tip onto the panel. I set the cardstock aside to dry.

Per questo biglietto ho voluto mantenere un certo monocromatismo, così ho scelto tinte neutre ed il Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. Ho acquerellato l'Oxide con un pennello a punta larga, tracciando su del cartoncino bianco delle linee orizzontali. In seguito ho preso lo stesso inchiostro, ho aggiunto dell'acqua e ho picchiettato un pennello dalla punta fine intriso di colore direttamente sul cartoncino di base. Poi ho lasciato asciugare.

I took the two stamps I needed from the latest release of So Suzy Stamps and I stamped them with Versafine Black Ink. As I wanted a perfect impression, I used the MISTI stamping tool.

Finally I picked a piece of cardstock really similar to my ink, I glued everything onto a card base and the card is finished:

Ho preso i due timbri di cui avevo bisogno dall'ultima release di So Suzy Stamps e li ho timbrati con dell'inchiostro Versafine nero. Visto che volevo una bella timbrata, ho usato il mio inseparabile MISTI.
Infine sono riuscita a recuperare un cartoncino dal colore molto simile a quello dell'inchiostro utilizzato, ho incollato il tutto su una base e la card è finita:

You can use any color you like for the background - pink and yellow would be great color combo as well! This project remembers me that we can create a card with such a little amount of supplies: this is something to keep in mind.

Si possono utilizzare diversi colori per lo sfondo - penso che anche il giallo e il rosa avrebbero funzionato bene! Il bello di questo progetto è che mi ha ricordato che si possono creare card con anche una piccola quantità di materiale: una cosa che dovrei tenere a mente.

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing with you a one-layer card using Distress blending, stenciling and stamping. In fact there are a couple of brand new fairies from the So Suzy Stamps latest release and I just can't hold on any longer: I want to use them!

Ciao amici! Oggi voglio condividere con voi una one-layer card che sfrutta Distress blending, stencil e timbrate. Infatti nell'ultima release di So Suzy Stamps ci sono un paio di nuovissime fatine...e non potevo più resistere, dovevo usarle!

First I used an old stencil and I blended three Oxides: Wilted Violet (at the edges), Worn Lipstick and Fossilized Amber (in the center). Then I removed the stencil and I picked up some colors thank to water droplets. Then I set it aside to dry.

Prima di tutto ho utilizzato un vecchio stencil e ho sfumato 3 Oxides: Wilted Violet (sui bordi), Worn Lipstick e Fossilized Amber (al centro). Poi ho rimosso lo stencil e ho picchiettato un po' d'acqua così da riattivare gli inchiostri e tirar via un po' di colore. Ho poi lasciato asciugare.

At this point I took my MISTI and I stamped the fairy and the sentiment - it's gorgeous, right? - with Versafine Black Ink. Thanks to the stamping tool, I stamped everything 3 times to achieve a bold impression.

A questo punto ho preso il mio MISTI e ho timbrato la fatina e la scritta - bellissima, non è vero? - con del Versafine nero. Grazie allo stamping tool, ho potuto timbrare ogni cosa 3 volte, ottenendo così una timbrata piena e perfetta.

Finally I fixed everything onto a standard size cardbase and I added some clear sequins with a bit of glossy accents. Quick and easy, what else?

Infine ho incollato il tutto alla base e ho aggiunto alcuni sequins trasparenti, fissati con un poco di glossy accents. Veloce e semplice da fare... cosa volere di più?
