Balloons and confetti
Hello my friends! Today I wanted to try something different: an unisex card made with solid stamps and a bit of heat embossing. I thought that stretching the Love Balloon stamp by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps would be a good idea! But first I chose a color palette and picked the matching inks.
Ciao amici! Oggi ho voluto provare a creare qualcosa di diverso: una card unisex con timbri pieni e un po' di heat embossing. Ho pensato di adattare allo scopo il timbro Love Balloon di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps! Ma prima ho scelto una precisa palette di colori e ho abbinato gli inchiostri corrispondenti.
I took a piece of white cardstock, picked a bunch of inks in brown, blue and rose colors and stamped the balloon on the paper. I masked the string off because I didn't want the background to be so busy.
Sono partita da del cartoncino bianco, ho preso un bel po' di inchiostri di colore marrone, azzurro e rosa e ho timbrato il palloncino più volte. Ho mascherato il file perché non volevo rendere lo sfondo troppo pieno e confuso.
I kept on stamping and overlapping the balloons a little bit here and there.
Ho continuato a timbrare e a sovrapporre i palloncini qua e là.
Then I stamped the Simple Birthday sentiment in the center of the panel with black ink and added highlights on all the balloons with a white gel pen.
Poi ho timbrato la scritta Simple Birthday al centro del pannello con dell'inchiostro nero e ho aggiunto dei punti luce sui palloncini con una penna gel bianca.
Finally I glued everything on a piece of black cardstock and stamped some confetti here and there with Versamark ink, in order to heat emboss all of them with gold powder.
Infine ho incollato il tutto su del cartoncino nero e ho timbrato qualche coriandolo qua e là con dell'inchiostro Versamark per embossarlo in oro.
They just give a little bit of sparkling to the whole composition!
Questo dettaglio dà un bel tocco di brillantezza all'intera composizione!
