Hello everybody! Today I was looking through my stash and saw this cute frog with a dreamy face from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. I thought to create a unique card, as if the frog was waiting for a girl to go out with.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi stavo dando un'occhiata ai miei timbri e ho visto questa rana con la faccia sognante di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. Ho pensato di realizzare una card originale, come se la rana stesse aspettando la ragazza con cui uscire.



First of all I stamped the sweet frog and the car onto a piece of white paper, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. I added a piece of vellum behind the windscreen of the car.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato la rana e la macchina su del cartoncino bianco, ho colorato con i pennarelli ad alcohol e ho ritagliato il tutto. Ho anche aggiunto del vellum dietro il parabrezza della macchina.



I grabbed a piece of watercolor paper and put a bit of watercolors splashes here and there. I matched it with a kraft cardstock as card base.

Ho preso del cartoncino acquerellabile e l'ho macchiato con dell'acquarello blu, lasciando qualche goccia qua e là. Ho poi abbinato il tutto al cartoncino color kraft.

Finally I stamped the perfect sentiment for the sweet frog and that's all: a romantic card with a bit of irony and without any hearts!

Infine ho timbrato un augurio che sta bene insieme alla ranocchia... e questo è tutto: una card romantica, con un pizzico di ironia e senza alcun cuoricino!

Hello, my friends! Finally spring has sprung...well, it seems more like Summer because days are sunny and really hot! In any case, I'm in the mood for spring cards, with a touch of sweetness and soft colors. Today I'm playing with the butterfly stamp by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and Prismacolor pencils.

Ciao amici! Finalmente la primavera è sbocciata...anzi, sarebbe meglio dire l'estate, visto che le giornate sono diventate soleggiate, ma con temperature roventi! In ogni caso, questa atmosfera primaverile mi ha decisamente ispirata, per cui eccomi qui con un paio di card primaverili, con un tocco di dolcezza e di colori pastello. Oggi mi sono divertita a giocare con la farfalla di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, nonché con le matite Prismacolor.

I love how Prismacolor pencils work with kraft cardstock: the brightness of these pencils is perfect for this kind of image, it's like giving life to it!

Amo vedere come le matite Prismacolor funzionano con il cartoncino kraft: la luminosità di queste matite è perfetta per questo tipo di immagine, è come darle vita!

First of all, I stamped a couple of butterflies on two different types of kraft cardstock. I used my MISTI tool because I like to stamp the image again in order to have a solid line after the coloring process. At the same time, I cut 2 panels from kraft cardstocks and stamped some polka dots on it.

Prima di tutto, ho timbrato un paio di farfalle su due diversi tipi di cartoncino kraft. Ho utilizzato l'immancabile MISTI perché mi piace timbrare nuovamente l'immagine così da avere una linea di timbrata precisa anche dopo la colorazione. Allo stesso tempo, ho preso due basi di cartoncino kraft e ho timbrato uno sfondo a pois su entrambi.

Next the relaxing part begins: coloring the two butterflies, following the lines of the wings. I used 2 shades of pink and 3 shades of light blue, plus the white pencil. As I wrote, I put the images in my MISTI, stamped with Versamark Black ink again and fussy cut. I added some details around the wings with a white gel pen.

In seguito la parte più rilassante ha avuto inizio: colorare le due farfalle, seguendo le linee delle ali. Ho utilizzato 2 sfumature di rosa e 3 di azzurro, più la matita bianca. Come ho già scritto, ho nuovamente timbrato le immagini con il MISTI e le ho ritagliate. Ho aggiunto qualche dettaglio intorno alle ali con una penna bianca.

Finally I took a piece of vellum and I cut it in a banner shape and in a circle shape. I stamped the Beautiful and Miss you sentiments in black on two strips of white cardstock, then I glued everything together.

Infine ho preso del vellum e l'ho ritagliato a forma di banner e di cerchio. Ho timbrato le scritte Beautiful e Miss you con dell'inchiostro nero su cartoncino bianco, poi ho incollato tutto insieme.

Hello cardmakers! Today I'm here with a couple of cards, full of colors and balloons, for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. I find that this type of cards is suitable for women as well as for men, so choosing the inks to use for the solid balloons is an important step.

Ciao creatrici di card! Oggi sono qui con un paio di progetti, pieni di colori e palloncini, per Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. Trovo che questo tipo di card sia adatto sia a donne che uomini, per cui scegliere gli inchiostri da usare per i palloncini è stato forse il passo più importante.



First I stamped a bunch of Love Balloons selecting the solid part only. I used inks from different brands, in particular the green blue shades and the yellow shade are from Catherine Pooler (Aquatini, Mint to be and Tiara). Then I fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato un po' di palloncini, inchiostrando solo la parte "solida". Ho utilizzato tamponi di diverse marche, in particolare le tinte marine e gialle di Catherine Pooler (Aquarini, Mint to be e Tiara). Poi ho ritagliato tutto.



Then I built two different backgrounds: one with ink blending and a cloudy masking technique, the second one with dry embossing technique with a stencil with stars.

Poi ho costruito due diversi sfondi: uno applicando del Broken China Distress Oxide su un pannello bianco e una maschera a forma di nuvole, l'altro con la tecnica del dry embossing con uno stencil stellato.



Finally I stamped or embossed the Happy Birthday Big sentiment and glued everything on a card base.

Infine ho timbrato e embossato la scritta Happy Birthday e incollato ogni cosa su una base.



Here I decided to add a thread to each balloon and to fix the balloons and the threads with foam tape.

Qui ho deciso di aggiungere un filo a ogni palloncino, fissando fili e palloncini con del nastro gommato.



I also added some highlights with white gel pen. In the card with blue sky, I drew some lines pretending to be threads.

Ho anche aggiunto qualche punto luce con della penna gel bianca. Nella card con il cielo azzurro, ho tracciato qualche linea a richiamare i fili.

Hello stampers! When my mojo is not collaborating, I usually focus on a couple of techniques: coloring or heat embossing. Today I went for an elegant and embossed background for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps without any coloring, just a little bit of ink blending.

Ciao a tutti! Quando l'ispirazione non collabora, di solito mi focalizzo su un paio di tecniche: colorare o embossare. Oggi ho scelto di realizzare una card elegante con uno sfondo embossato per Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps senza alcuna colorazione, solo dell'inchiostro sui lati.

First I took a piece of lilac cardstock, because I wanted to match Shaded Lilac Distress Ink with the cardbase. Then I stamped the Skeleton Leaf 1 with Versamark Ink, trying to build up a pattern. I covered everything with silver embossing powder and heat embossed.

Prima di tutto ho preso un cartoncino lillà, perché l'idea era quella di abbinarci l'inchiostro Shaded Lilac. Poi ho timbrato il timbro Skeleton Leaf 1 con del Versamark, cercando di costruire un pattern. Ho coperto il tutto con della polvere da embossing argento

In order to add some dimension, I blended the edges of the cardstock with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink.

Per aggiungere un po' di effetto rilievo, ho applicato ai bordi l'inchiostro Shaded Lilac.

Finally I stamped the Dream Live sentiment on black cardstock, I cut it in a half and I glued it down with some foam tape.

Infine ho timbrato la scritta Dream Live su del cartoncino nero, l'ho diviso in due e ho incollato entrambi i pezzi con del nastro gommato.

As finishing touches, I added some clear sequins and Liquid Pearls. I adhered the front panel on a black cardbase and traced some dash lines all around the edges.

Come tocco finale, ho aggiunto dei sequins trasparenti e del Liquid Pearl. Ho incollato il pannello frontale su una base nera e ho tracciato una linea tratteggiata tutto intorno ai bordi.

Hello everyone! It's been a while since my latest masculine card - I always struggle with them! So I decided to take them easy with some Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps supplies and a palette of colors with blues, kraft and grey. Plus, Masculine and Sports stamps are 20% off during this month:

Ciao a tutti! E' da un po' che non mi cimento con le card al maschile - che mi danno sempre un po' di affanno. Per cui ho deciso di mantenermi sul semplice utilizzando un po' di materiali di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps e una palette di colori fatta di blu, kraft e grigio. In più, i timbri a tema maschile sono scontati del 20% durante questo mese.

First I created my background by die cutting a piece of blue cardstock multiple times. In this way I die cut a tree shape all around my panel, that I was going to match with a kraft cardstock. Then I picked a strip of vellum.

Per prima cosa ho realizzato lo sfondo fustellando del cartoncino blu più e più volte. In questo modo ho costruito un pannello con più sagome di alberi ritagliate al suo interno, che ho poi abbinato ad un cartoncino kraft. Poi ho ritagliato anche una striscia di vellum.

At this point I stamped the hammer and the nail with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored everything with promarkers and fussy cut. 

A questo punto ho timbrato il martello ed il chiodo con dell'inchiostro Memento nero, ho colorato il tutto con i promarkers e ritagliato.

I added the handy-man sentiment on a strip of kraft cardstock and I put everything together with tape and foam tape.

Ho aggiunto la scritta handy-man su del cartoncino kraft e ho assemblato il tutto con nastro e nastro gommato.

As final touches I added some Nuvo Drops in glitter blue and white.

Come tocco finale ho aggiunto qualche Nuvo Drops, sia in blu glitter che in bianco.

I really like the hilarious match between the bent nail and the sentiment!

Vi faccio notare che mi piace molto l'accoppiata ironica della scritta e del chiodo piegato!

First of all I stamped the Coffee Cup Heart with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, masking a couple of details.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato la tazza con del Memento nero, mascherando un paio di dettagli.

Then I coloured the image and I added the glasses and the lightnening bolt. 

Poi ho colorato l'immagino e ho aggiunto gli occhiali e la caratteristica cicatrice.

I picked a piece of watercolor paper and I smashed some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink on it, in order to get the idea of the coffee stains. I die cut some letters to combine them with the Expecto Patronum sentiment.

Ho preso della carta acquerellabile e ho cominciato a lavorarla con del Distress Oxide Walnut Stain, così da rendere l'idea delle macchie di caffé. Ho fustellato delle lettere per usarle in combinazione con la scritta Expecto Patronum.

I added the wand and some glossy accents on the glasses, and I stamped the sentiment too.

Ho aggiunto la bacchetta magica e dei glossy accents sulle lenti, e ho timbrato anche la scritta.

As I didn't like the final look of the cup, I added a scarf with the Gryffindor colors.

Visto che non mi piaceva molto il risultato finale, ho aggiunto una sciarpa con i colori dei Griffondoro.
