Hello spooky friends! As I promise, today I'm going to share another project using the most inspiring images from the Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps latest release. I wanted to make something different, so I went for some Halloween lollipop cards.

Buongiorno spaventevoli amici! Come promesso, oggi sono qui a condividere un altro progetto utilizzando alcune delle immagini dell'ultima release di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps che più mi hanno ispirato. Inoltre ho voluto creare qualcosa di diverso, per cui ho scelto di provare a fare delle lollipop cards a tema Halloween.

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures during the creative process, but I only needed a doily, a long toothpick, a strip of black cardstock folded up and down, a glue gun and some patterned paper.

Purtroppo mi sono dimenticata di fare foto durante il processo creativo, ma c'è solo bisogno di un centrino, uno stuzzicadenti lungo, una striscia di cartoncino nero piegata avanti e indietro, una pistola a caldo e della carta pattern.

Then I stamped the carved pumpkin, the witches hat and the big potion onto a piece of Strathmore paper with Versafine Black Ink. I used the MISTI tool to do that: once I coloured the images with Prismacolor pencils, I stamped them again to make the edges pop. Next I fussy cut.

Poi ho timbrato la zucca scavata, il cappello da strega e la pozione grande su della carta Strathmore con dell'inchiostro Versafine. Per fare questo ho utilizzato il MISTI: una volta colorate le immagini con le matite Prismacolor, le ho timbrate nuovamente per far riemergere i bordi neri. Poi le ho ritagliate.

Once you have all your elements done, you only need to glue them together choosing the paper that matches better with your images. And that's all: these lollipops are so nice for home decorations, spooky ornaments or cards for kids!

Una volta che tutti gli elementi sono pronti, rimane solo da incollare tutto insieme scegliendo la carta che meglio si abbina alle varie immagini. E questo è tutto: questi lollipops sono davvero carini sia come decorazione per la casa sia come card per bambini!

Hello stampers! Today I'm back with a Christmas card that I made for the new Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps challenge, as the theme is "All Holidays"!

Ciao a tutti! Oggi sono qui con una card natalizia che ho realizzata per la nuova sfida sul blog di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps, che vede come tema "All Holidays"!

I used one of my current favorite technique: repeated stamping for backgrounds. This time I chose a little candy cane stamp and a dark grey cardstock, since I love how prismacolor pencils look on dark surfaces.

Ho utilizzato una delle mie (attuali) tecniche preferite: la timbrata ripetuta per sfondi personalizzati. Questa volta ho scelto il piccolo timbro con il bastoncino di zucchero e del cartoncino grigio scuro, visto che adoro l'effetto delle matite prismacolor sulle superfici scure.

First I stamped the candy cane trying to follow a sort of pattern with Versamark ink, I covered everything with white embossing powder and then heat embossed.

Quindi ho timbrato il bastoncino di zucchero cercando di seguire un motivo con dell'inchiostro Versamark, ho coperto tutto con della polvere bianca e ho embossato a caldo.

Then I coloured every candy cane using a couple of shades for each color.

Poi ho colorato ciascun bastoncino utilizzando un paio di tinte per ogni colore.

Finally I cut the panel in a half, adding two short strips of light grey cardstock in between. I placed the sentiment on a white cardbase and stamped it in red with the MISTI tool.

Infine ho tagliato il pannello in diagonale, aggiungendo due strisce fini di cartoncino grigio. Ho posizionato l'augurio su una base bianca e timbrato con inchiostro rosso e MISTI.

Hi there! While I was on vacation I really missed my prismacolor pencils. Since I haven't used them for a while, I decided to put the box on my desk and try out some new color combinations. The final result was a little fairy, that I imagine working through the night: the perfect character for a little shaped card for the new Create a Smile challenge!



Ciao a tutti! Mentre quest'estate ero in vacanza, mi sono mancate tantissimo le matite prismacolor. Visto che, per di più, erano rimaste chiuse nella scatola per tanto tempo, ho deciso di metterle sulla scrivania e provare qualche combinazione di colore diversa dal solito. Il risultato finale è stata questa piccola fatina, che ho immaginato lavorare per tutta la notte: il personaggio perfetto per una piccola shaped card per la nuova sfida di Create a Smile!

For the background I blended some Distress Inks (in particular Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot) on a piece of watercolor paper that I previously die cut with an oval cool die by Create a Smile stamps. This is the base of my shaped card, that I can open and close by adhering another panel behind this one.

Per lo sfondo ho utilizzato un po' di Distress Inks (in particolare Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire e Black Soot) su della carta acquerellabile che ho precedentemente fustellato con uno dei cool dies ovali di Create a Smile stamps. Questa sarà la base della mia shaped card, che posso aprire e chiudere grazie ad un altro pannello identico incollato dietro a quello frontale.




To finish my background I heat embossed the sentiment in white and I used some embossing paste on the Wave of Stars stencil. Finally I glued the fairy that I coloured using these pencils: for the hair PC903, PC906 and PC1086, for the skin PC1059, PC1061 and PC1063, for the wings PC949. You have 2 weeks to join us here and be eligibile to win a 25€ gift certificate to the shop!

Per finire lo sfondo ho embossato una scritta in bianco e ho utilizzato dell'embossing paste sullo stencil Wave of Stars. Infine ho incollato la fatina che avevo precedentemente colorato utilizzando le matite: per i capelli PC903, PC906 e PC1086, per la pelle PC1059, PC1061 e PC1063, per le ali PC949. Avete 2 settimane per unirvi a noi qui e rischiare di vincere un coupon di 25€ per lo shop!

I love these spooky images: they have such a nice size and can be coloured with any color medium!

Adoro queste immagini terrificanti: hanno la giusta dimensione e possono essere colorate con qualsiasi medium!

First I created my own background, stamping the pumpkin with white ink on black cardstock. I was trying to create a sort of pattern, but you can be as messy as you want.

Prima di tutto ho creato il mio sfondo, timbrando la zucca con inchiostro bianco su cartoncino nero. Ho cercato di creare una sorta di pattern, ma si può anche evitare stampando più liberamente.

Then I choose two stamps - the carved pumpkin and the ghost -, I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut. I coloured with promarker pens, adding highlights with a white gel pen.

Poi ho scelto due timbri - la zucca incavata e il fantasma -, li ho timbrati con dell'inchiostro Memento Tuxedo Black e li ho ritagliati. Li ho colorati con i promarkers, aggiungendo punti luce con la penna bianca.

Next I stamped part of the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock (I decided to left the little pumpkin behind) and glued everything down onto the background.

In seguito ho timbrato una parte del sentiment su del cartoncino bianco (ho deciso infatti di tralasciare la piccola zucca in basso) e ho incollato tutto sullo sfondo nero.

Hi there! "For kids" is the new theme on Create a Smile blog challenge: since August is ending, I thought of this cute gang of koalas to create my latest summer card.

Ciao a tutti! "Per bimbi" è il tema della nuova sfida sul blog di Create a Smile: visto che agosto sta finendo, ho pensato di creare la mia ultima card estiva con questa simpaticissima gang di koala.

So I stamped three of them from "All Hands on Deck" stampset - plus the pirate flag and a bunch of coins - with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with promarkers. Then I fussy cut and arranged them onto a piece of patterned paper that matches perfectly. 

Ho timbrato tre di loro dal set "All Hands on Deck" - più la bandiera dei pirati e un gruzzoletto di monetine - con dell'inchiostro Memento nero e li ho colorati con i promarkers. Poi li ho ritagliati e li ho posizionati su della carta pattern che si sposa alla perfezione.

At this point I only needed to cut two strips of white cardstock and I glued them down at the top and at the bottom of the card base with some foam adhesive.

A questo punto ho solo dovuto tagliare due strisce di cartoncino bianco e le ho incollate ai lati della base con del nastro adesivo spessorato.

Hello my friends! Fall is coming and... well, are you thinking of Halloween cards? This is the first one I made in this mood and I created it using stamps from Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps latest release. I kept it simple, as usual: a couple of images, a patterned background and an embossed sentiment... even if classical, I love how it turned out!

Ciao a tutti! L'estate sta finendo e l'autunno si avvicina... state già pensando alle card per Halloween? Questa è la primissima card che realizzo quest'anno, creata seguendo questo mood e  utilizzando i timbri dell'ultima release di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps. Ho mantenuto, come al solito, un'impostazione piuttosto semplice: un paio di immagini, una carta patterned come sfondo e una scritta embossata... anche se molto classica, mi piace molto il risultato finale!

First of all I picked up two images: the witch hat and the broom. I coloured both of them with alcohol markers and then fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho selezionato due immagini: il cappello e la scopa da strega. Ho colorato entrambi con i pennarelli ad alcohol e li ho ritagliati.

Next I chose a geometrical patterned paper in violet, I die cut a white circle and heat embossed the sentiment in white on black.

Poi ho scelto una carta pattern piuttosto geometrica, che contenesse colori simili a quelli utilizzati per il cappello, ho fustellato un cerchio da un cartoncino bianco e ho embossato la scritta in bianco su nero.

I glued everything on a piece of cardstock, popping up the images with a bit of 3D foam tape. Remember that you have until September 14th to play with the Crackerbox & So suzy Stamps monthly challenge: this month is all about Halloween:



Ho incollato il tutto su una base, dando rilievo alle immagini con del nastro adesivo 3D. Ricordatevi di partecipare alla nostra sfida mensile, che fino al 14 settembre è tutta dedicata ad Halloween!

Ciao a tutti! Oggi abbiamo un evento-bomba: una bella collaborazione tra Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps e My Sweet Petunia (dove è stato inventato il MISTI!). Visto che si tratta di una collaborazione molto speciale, potete vedere come ho realizzato queste due card a tema Harry Potter guardando il video tutorial che ho realizzato:

In my opinion, the MISTI is a must-have for a crafter: you can stamp as many time as you need, getting a perfect impression without wasting paper and time. Especially if you are working with textured or watercolor paper, as I did with my backgrounds. This new release from Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps is full of medium-size images, that work well for customized backgrounds. And the sentiments are just the perfect match!

Secondo me, il MISTI è uno strumento fondamentale per una crafter: puoi stampare quante volte vuoi, ottenendo una timbrata perfetta senza buttar via carta e tempo. Specialmente se ti trovi a lavorare con carta acquerellabile o con molta texture, come nel caso dei miei sfondi. La nuova release di Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps è piena di immagini di grandezza media, che funzionano benissimo con sfondi come questi. E le scritte si sposano alla perfezione!
