Hi there! This year I was a nice girl since I created lots of Christmas cards...and I'm still working on them! As Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps has tons of stamps perfect for traditional cards, I picked one of them in order to build a romantic night scene inspired by Cathy Zielske.

Ciao a tutti! Quest'anno sono stata una brava ragazza, visto che ho creato un sacco di card natalizie...e ci sto ancora lavorando, non devo mollare! Dato che Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps possiede moltissimi timbri per card tradizionali, ne ho preso uno che mi permettesse di realizzare una scena notturna ispirata a quella di Cathy Zielske.


First of all I took my Kuretake Gansai watercolors and I chose a couple of shades. Then I covered some watercolor paper with water and added some color starting from the top.

Prima di tutto ho tirato fuori i miei acquarelli Kuretake Gansai e ho scelto un paio di colori. Poi ho coperto della carta acquerellabile con dell'acqua e ho aggiunto del colore, partendo dall'alto.


I let everything dry and I stamped some trees at the bottom of the panels, paying attention on chaging the position of the tree to build a realistic wood.

Ho lasciato asciugare e ho timbrato un po' di alberi nella parte inferiore della card, facendo attenzione a cambiare la posizione degli stessi per dare l'effetto di un bosco realistico.


Next I sprinkled a bit of white acrilic paint to achieve the effect of the snow and glued a die cut sentiment.

In seguito ho picchiettato dell'acrilico bianco per ottenere l'effetto della neve e ho incollato l'augurio fustellato.


To finish it off, I glued the panel on a white card base and added a black strip on which I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment.

Per finire il tutto, ho incollato il pannello su una base bianca e ho aggiunto la seconda parte del sentiment embossandola su del cartoncino nero.
