Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing something different for Crackerbox Palace and So Suzy Stamps - not flower-related, I mean: a masculine card! I was inspired by the Soccer World Cup: even if Italy wasn't qualified, soccer is still particularly loved here. This little squared card is perfect for sportsmen and it looks so clean!

Ciao amici! Oggi vengo a mostrarvi una card diversa dal solito - ovvero, nulla di petaloso - per Crackerbox Palace e So Suzy Stamps: una card per maschietti! L'ispirazione è nata dai mondiali di calcio: anche se l'Italia non si è qualificata, le partite dei mondiali hanno sempre un forte ascendente (soprattutto sugli uomini)... e quindi una piccola card per uomini sportivi mi è parsa un'ottima idea!

To begin with, I stamped the soccer ball onto a piece of regular cardstock and I fussy cut. Then I die cut 2 circles and I blended them with Distress Inks: for the first one I used Brocken China Oxide and a cloudy homemade stencil, while I blended the second one with Twisted Citron and Forest Moss Distress Ink. Then I die cut the green circle with a grass border from Lawn Fawn.

Per cominciare, ho timbrato la pallone di calcio su del cartoncino bianco e l'ho ritagliato. Ho poi fustellato 2 cerchi, che ho poi trattato con i Distress: in uno ho abbinato uno stencil per nuvole a del Broken China Oxide, mentre sul secondo ho applicato del Twisted Citron e Forest Moss Distress Ink. Per finire, ho fustellato il cerchio verde con una bordatura a forma di prato.

I glued everything down and I added dimension with 3D foam adhesive and tape adhesive. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and I drew dash lines all around the edges.

Ho incollato il tutto e ho aggiunto un po' di tridimensionalità alternando biadesivo semplice e spessorato. Ho timbrato un sentiment su del cartoncino bianco e ho completato la card aggiungendo delle linee tratteggiate sui bordi.

Hello crafters! I'm up with a floral card featuring So Suzy Stamps and the beautiful peonies designed by Olesya - that is actually free with every order during the month of June!

You know that I love stamping, coloring and making cards with flowers, in particular in Spring and Summer. As I saw the peony, I really wanted to create a circular cluster on a soft background.

Buongiorno creative! Oggi vi mostro l'ennesima card floreale per So Suzy Stamps, che vede protagonista la bellissima peonia disegnata da Olesya - e che attualmente è gratis con qualsiasi tipo di ordine durante il mese di giugno!

Ormai sapete che adoro timbrare, colorare e realizzare card con i fiori, in particolare durante la primavera e l'estate. Non appena ho visto la peonia, ho pensato di realizzare una card con un piccolo bouquet disposto a cerchio su uno sfondo molto leggero.

First I stamped three of them using Memento Black Ink, fussy cut and coloured with promarkers.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato 3 peonie con del Memento nero, le ho ritagliate e poi colorate con i promarkers.

I picked up a patterned paper from my stash and I stamped the sentiment on a little strip of black cardstock. To add more interest, I also die cut a geometric shape in white.

Poi ho scelto una carta fantasia e ho timbrato la scritta su una striscia di cartoncino nero. Per aggiungere un certo interesse al tutto, ho fustellato una forma geometrica con del cartoncino bianco.

The only thing left to do was arranging everything on a black cardbase and glued down. This peony is really large: you only need a couple of them to make a card for every occasion.

L'unica cosa rimasta da fare è stata disporre il tutto su del cartoncino nero e fissarlo con biadesivo e nastro gommato. La peonia ha una dimensione fantastica: ne bastano un paio per creare una card adatta ad ogni occasione.

Hello there! The new monthly challenge is up on So Suzy Stamps blog and the theme is... Summer! You have until July 14th to enter the challenge using any stamps you have: we're offering to one random winner a 25$ gift certificate to be used in the store! By the way, as soon as I think summer I imagine warm colors, sunset and bold landscapes. So I created a very simple card with stamping and ink blending.

Avete tempo fino al 14 luglio per partecipare con qualsiasi timbro possedete: in palio per il fortunato vincitore un buono da 25$ da spendere nello shop! Comunque, non appena penso all'estate, immagino subito colori cardi, un bel tramonto e tanti paesaggi dai toni intensi. Per questo ho realizzato una card molto semplice, che prevede timbrate e qualche inchiostro.

To begin with, I masked off a white cardbase in order to create an inked circle. I chose 3 Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral) and I blended to achieve an ombré look.

Per cominciare ho mascherato una base bianca per creare un cerchio inchiostrato. Ho scelto 3 Distress Ink (Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade e Abandoned Coral) e li ho amalgamati in modo da creare un gradiente.

Then I stamped the palm tree with the Versafine Ink, using a MISTI tool for a great impression. I stamped the sentiment and I glued down a thin strip of black cardstock to cover a mistake on the left.

Poi ho timbrato la palma con l'inchiostro Versafine, usando il MISTI per avere una timbrata ancora più decisa e piena. Ho timbrato anche la scritta ed ho incollato una piccola striscia di cartoncino nero per coprire un piccolo errore sulla parte sinistra della card.

Hi there! Today I used the beautiful Leafy Branch tall stamp by So Suzy Stamps to create a card inspired by the one and the only Yana Smakula. I've been following her since ages and I love her clean, simple and colorful style. She often creates her own backgrounds by stamping and coloring some stamped images.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi ho utilizzato il bellissimo timbro Leafy Branch tall di So Suzy Stamps per creare una card tutta ispirata a quelle di Yana Smakula, una delle cardmaker che più adoro. La seguo da anni e amo il suo stile pulito, semplice e coloratissimo. Spesso crea gli sfondi delle sue card timbrando e colorando immagini timbrate.

I decided to do the same with this branch of leaves that I inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink and stamped multiple times on a piece of watercolor paper - not the best choice, I know. 

Ho deciso di fare la stessa con questo ramo di foglie che ho timbrato più volte con del Distress Ink Antique Linen su della carta acquarellabile - non è stata una scelta felice, ne sono consapevole.

Next I coloured all of them with 3 or 4 shades of green prismacolor pencils (I really enjoy the no-line coloring technique!).

Ho colorato poi tutte le immagini utilizzando 3 o 4 sfumature di matite primacolor verdi (mi piace proprio la tecnica di colorazione "no-line"!).

Finally I chose the "Plant a seed" sentiment and I heat embossed in white on black. I trimmed every line of the sentiment and placed them in the center of the card with foam adhesive. I mounted the panel on a black cardbase and I added some white Nuvo Drops as final touches.

Infine ho scelto la scritta "Plant a seed" e l'ho embossata in bianco su cartoncino nero. Ho tagliato ogni riga dell'augurio e le ho posizionate al centro della card con dell'adesivo gommato. Ho montato il pannello su una base nera e ho aggiunto delle Nuvo Drops bianche come tocco finale.

I love this card because I only needed a couple of stamps and a lot of coloring. The final result is clean and bright, and that's exactly what I was looking for!

Mi piace molto il risultato ottenuto perché ho dovuto utilizzare solo un paio di timbri - ma un sacco di colorazione. L'effetto è pulito, semplice ma vivace, esattamente quello che stavo cercando!

Hi there! Today I created something different for So Suzy Stamps: a wine tag! This is the perfect add-on for a gifted bottle of wine. I already had a die cut for the tag structure - but you only need a trimmer and a circle die to recreate this.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi ho creato qualcosa di diverso per So Suzy Stamps: una tag per il vino! Si tratta della perfetta rifinitura per una bottiglia di vino che regaliamo ad amici o parenti. Io già avevo una fustella per la struttura della tag, ma è semplice da ricreare con taglierina e fustella a cerchio.

Then I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink: I chose the bottle, the glass and the wine grapes. I coloured them with promarker pens and I fussy cut. I also added "Vin Rouge" to the bottle. At this point the only things left to do were stamping the sentiment and fixing the images and the tag with a bit of adhesive.

In seguito ho timbrato le mie immagini con dell'inchiostro Memento: ho scelto la bottiglia, il bicchiere e il grappolo d'uva. Ho colorato il tutto con i promarker ed ho ritagliato. Ho anche aggiunto "Vin Rouge" sull'etichetta della bottiglia. A questo punto le uniche cose rimaste da fare sono state timbrare l'augurio e incollare il tutto sulla tag.

For the bunch of grapes I decided to use foam adhesive. This is really quick and easy to create - even for a last minute invitation!

Per quel che riguarda il grappolo d'uva, ho deciso di usare del nastro gommato. Si tratta di una tag veramente semplice e veloce - anche per un'invito dell'ultimo minuto!

Meow, guys! Today I'm taking part in the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, so I made a card following this theme using So Suzy Stamps supplies. I really wanted to use the "procaffeinating" quote as my sentiment, pairing it with a coffee image - of course! I chose the Coffee Cup Heart stamp designed by Tracy, but I decided to add an excited kitty nearby to reinforce the message.

Miao! Oggi partecipo alla Blog Hop "Summer Coffee Lovers", per cui ho realizzato una card seguendo il tema con i materiali di So Suzy Stamps. Sono partita dal sentiment - una frase davvero simpatica e che volevo utilizzare da tanto tempo - che ho abbinato ad un'immagine legata al "caffé". Ho scelto il timbro Coffee Cup Heart disegnato da Tracy, ma ho deciso di aggiungergli accanto il gattino divertito per rinforzare il messaggio. 

So I started by stamping the Kitty Fun with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then I masked it and I stamped the Coffee Cup too. I coloured them with my promarkers and I fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato il gattino con del Memento Tuxedo Black, poi ho l'ho mascherato ed ho timbrato anche il bicchiere di caffé. Ho colorato entrambi con i promarkers e li ho ritagliati.

As soon as I added the googly eyes to the kitty, I decided to glued them down... because its face says "After coffee I can do anything!". I also picked a patterned paper with lots of hearts for my background.

Non appena ho aggiunto gli occhietti roteanti al gattino, ho subito deciso di incollarli... perché la sua faccia ora sembra dire "dopo il caffé posso fare qualsiasi cosa!". Ho anche scelto una carta patterned con molti cuoricini da posizionare come sfondo.

As my final step, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and I embossed it in white. I took an action wobble and I fixed it under the kitty... and the card is finished!

Infine ho timbrato l'augurio su del cartoncino nero e l'ho embossato in bianco. Ho preso una molla adesiva e l'ho fissata al di sotto del gatto... e la card è conclusa!

Procaffeinating

Hello there! Any romantic here? Me too! Today I used the Morning glory set designed by Olesya for So Suzy Stamps in order to make a card with a ton of flowers.

Buongiorno! Qualche persona romantica nei dintorni? Io sono tra queste! Oggi ho utilizzato il set "morning glory" disegnato da Olesya per So Suzy Stamps per realizzare una card con moltissimi fiori.

First I stamped a bunch of flowers - 2 or 3 per kind and some extra leaves. I coloured each of them with two shades of promarkers, adding some white dots with a gel pen. Then I fussy cut everything.

Anzitutto ho timbrato un sacco di fiori - 2 o 3 per tipo, nonché qualche foglia extra. Ho colorato ciascuno di loro con due tonalità di promarkers, aggiungendo puntini bianchi con una penna gel. Poi ho ritagliato tutto.

At this point I placed all the flowers around an oval die for choosing where to put every image. When I was satisfied with the result, I fixed them with glue and foam adhesive. I added more dots all around and I die cut a sentiment that says "best wishes" in Italian.

A questo punto ho collocato tutti i fiori intorno ad una fustella ovale che mi ha aiutato a scegliere dove collocare ogni immagine. Una volta soddisfatta del risultato, ho fissato il tutto con della colla e del nastro gommato. Ho aggiunto più puntini bianchi tutti intorno ed ho fustellato l'augurio.
