Hello my friends! After lots and lots of coloring through the month of April, I finally decided to go back to basics with these two card, full of ink blending, heat embossing and die cutting techniques.

Ciao amici! Dopo aver condiviso un sacco di card con colorazione per tutto il mese di aprile, ho finalmente deciso di tornare alle basi con queste due card, ricche di inchiostro sfumato, embossing a caldo e fustellate.

First of all I built a customized heat embossed background by stamping the Leafy Branch Tall multiple times on brown cardstock. I decided to use white embossing powder to achieve a more dramatic look.

Prima di tutto ho messo insieme uno sfondo embossato timbrando più volte l'immagine Leafy Branch Tall su del cartoncino marrone. Ho deciso di utilizzare la polvere da embossing bianca per ottenere un effetto più drammatico.

Then I blended the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a little bit of Black Soot at the very edges, leaving the center lighter.

In seguito ho sfumato i lati con il Distress Ink Vintage Photo e anche un pochino di Black Soot proprio sui bordi.

Finally I die cut the word "wishes" in italian out of white cardstock and white foam. I glued every single piece of foam with the corresponding cardstock piece.

Infine ho fustellato la parola "auguri" da del cartoncino bianco e da del foam. Ho incollato ogni lettera in gomma con la corrispondente di cartoncino.

Finally I fixed everything on top of the panel, placing two letters per lines at the center.

Infine ho fissato il tutto su una base, posizionando 2 lettere alla volta al centro.

I did the same with a light blue cardstock, blended with Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks.

Ho seguito lo stesso procedimento con un cartoncino azzurro, sfumato con i Distress Inks Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon e Blueprint Sketch.

In this case I decided to use clear embossing powder for the leaves, which stands out less than the white ones. I love both the cards, especially because they could work for male and female recipients.

In questo caso ho deciso di utilizzare la polvere da embossing clear, che sicuramente risalta meno di quella bianca. Adoro entrambe le versioni, specialmente perché entrambe si adattano tanto a un destinatario maschile quanto femminile.

Hello stampers! It's the last day of April and so the last day of celebrations for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Anniversary. It was a busy month, full of new stamps, blog hops, prizes and inspirations. To celebrate our Anniversary Blog Hop and close our month of celebrations, we have a great surprise. Today I'm focusing on another new flower stamp - the large Sunflower.

Ciao a tutti! E' l'ultimo giorno di Aprile, per cui è anche l'ultimo giorno di festeggiamenti per l'anniversario di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. E' stato un mese impegnativo, pieno di nuovi timbri, blog hop, premi e ispirazione. Per l'anniversario, la nostra amica Den di Simply Charming regalerà due delle sue bellissime Tote Bags come parte dei premi - troverete maggiori info in fondo al post. Oggi mi sono dedicata a un altro dei nuovi timbri floreali - il grande Girasole.

I stamped it on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. I made 2 sunflowers, because at the beginning I was struggling with the shades of colors. For the first one I used orange and yellow colors.

L'ho timbrato su del cartoncino bianco e colorato con i pennarelli ad alcohol. Ho realizzato due girasoli, visto che all'inizio ero indecisa sulle combinazioni di colore da usare. Alla fine ho optato per l'arancione e il giallo per il primo.

For the second one I went for a more vintage look, using brown and yellow shades.

Per il secondo ho scelto delle sfumature più vintage, ovvero il marrone e il giallo.

After coloring and fussy cutting everything, I decided to kept both of them and cut the foliage.

Dopo aver colorato e ritagliato il tutto, ho deciso di tenerli entrambi e di tagliare via tutte le foglie.

Next I die cut a tag from kraft cardstock and chose a piece of patterned paper that I used as a background.

In seguito ho fustellato una tag da del cartoncino kraft e ho scelto della carta patterned da utilizzare come sfondo.

I stamped the Amazing sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and I put everything together, using regular and foam tape. These will be our anniversary prizes:

Hello my friends! I'm anticipating the Mermay feelings with two cards made with the super-sweet mini mermaids by Some Odd Girl. In fact today I'm showing you two bright and cheerful cards, using ink blending tecnique and alcohol markers coloring.

Ciao amici! Oggi anticipo un po' i tempi del cosiddetto "Mermay" con due card a tema sirenette. Ho scelto le due mini mermaids di Some Odd Girl ed ho realizzato due biglietti colorati e simpatici, utilizzando la tecnica dell'ink blending e la colorazione con i pennarelli ad alcohol.

For my first card, I printed, colored and fussy cut the little mermaid hugging a worried fish. I chose blue and yellow colors, that I used also for the sentiment and the background. In fact I blended Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks, adding a stencil and white pigment ink on top.

Per la mia prima card, ho stampato, colorato e ritagliato la piccola sirenetta che abbraccia un pesciolino alquanto preoccupato. Ho scelto le tonalità del blu e del giallo, che ho usato anche per la scritta e lo sfondo. Ho sfumato i Distress Inks Cracked Pistachio e Peacock Feathers, aggiungendo uno stencil e dell'inchiostro bianco al di sopra.

For my second card I created a very similar background, picking Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I framed the panel with black cardstock and glued everything on a bright green cardbase.

Per la mia seconda card ho creato uno sfondo molto simile, scegliendo i Distress Inks Twisted Citron e Peacock Feathers. Ho incorniciato il pannello con del cartoncino nero e ho incollato il tutto su una base verde brillante.

In this case, I decided to color the mermaid as if she was Ariel, the Disney Princess with long and red hair. I fussy cut and placed her in the center of my card. I really love how the two cards turned out, especially because I failed all the other projects I was working on!

In questo caso, ho deciso di colorare la sirenetta come se fosse Ariel, la principessa Disney con lunghi capelli rossi. L'ho ritagliata e posizionata al centro della mia card. Adoro come i due biglietti sono venute fuori, specialmente avendo fallito tutti gli altri progetti su cui stavo lavorando!

For today's card I used the amazing Peony new stamp, which I stamped two times on white cardstock.

Per la card di oggi ho deciso di utilizzare il nuovo meraviglioso timbro Peonia, che ho timbrato 2 volte su del cartoncino bianco.

I chose red shades, but for one peony I used lighter colors than the other one. Then I fussy cut.

Ho scelto sfumature di rosso, realizzando una peonia con colori più chiari dell'altra. Poi ho ritagliato entrambe.

At this point I arranged the two peonies on a piece of white cardstock on which I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment. Then I took a patterned paper with white dots on black and I used it as my front panel. Finally I glued everything together.

A questo punto ho posizionato le due peonie su del cartoncino bianco, su cui ho timbrato la scritta Thinking of You. Poi ho preso della carta patterned bianca e nera e l'ho utilizzata come pannello frontale. Infine ho incollato tutto insieme.

Simple Thinking of You

Hello my friends! Spring is here and so the tweeting birds out of my window! I love that the first thing that I hear when I wake up is the tweet of the birds. This situation made me choose this the Tweeting Bird digi designed by Some Odd Girl to create a spring card.

Ciao a tutti! La primavera è arrivata, e con lei i cinguettii degli uccellini che si rincorrono fuori dalla finestra! Adoro che la prima cosa che sento al risveglio è proprio il canto degli uccelli. La situazione che stiamo vivendo ha fatto sì che scegliessi proprio il timbro digitale Tweeting Bird disegnato da Some Odd Girl per creare una card primaverile.

First of all, I printed the bird on white cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut. I decided to add some dots here and there to add more interest to the image.

Prima di tutto ho stampato l'uccellino su del cartoncino bianco, l'ho colorato con i pennarelli ad alcol e ritagliati. Ho deciso di aggiungere qualche puntino qua e là, per aggiungere dinamicità alla figura.

I die cut a circle from a white panel, then built a background with cloud stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Finally I stamped a sentiment that says "Best wishes", adding the bird and the note with foam tape.

Ho fustellato un cerchio da un pannello bianco, poi ho creato lo sfondo con uno stencil con le nuvole e dell'inchiostro Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. Infine ho timbrato l'augurio e ho aggiunto l'uccellino e la nota musicale con del nastro gommato.

With the same image in a smaller size I decided to create a bookmark with pink, kraft and white cardstocks.

Con la stessa immagine di dimensioni minori ho deciso di creare un segnalibro con cartoncini rosa, kraft e bianco.

In this case I used brown and pink colors for the bird too, adding some dots with a colorless marker in order to brighten it up. I hope that you can feel the positiveness of this image too!

In questo caso ho optato per i colori marrone e rosa anche per l'uccellino, aggiungendo qualche puntino con il pennarello blender per illuminare un po' l'immagine. Spero che anche voi riusciate a sentire la positività trasmessa da questo uccellino!
