For today's card I used the amazing Peony new stamp, which I stamped two times on white cardstock.

Per la card di oggi ho deciso di utilizzare il nuovo meraviglioso timbro Peonia, che ho timbrato 2 volte su del cartoncino bianco.

I chose red shades, but for one peony I used lighter colors than the other one. Then I fussy cut.

Ho scelto sfumature di rosso, realizzando una peonia con colori più chiari dell'altra. Poi ho ritagliato entrambe.

At this point I arranged the two peonies on a piece of white cardstock on which I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment. Then I took a patterned paper with white dots on black and I used it as my front panel. Finally I glued everything together.

A questo punto ho posizionato le due peonie su del cartoncino bianco, su cui ho timbrato la scritta Thinking of You. Poi ho preso della carta patterned bianca e nera e l'ho utilizzata come pannello frontale. Infine ho incollato tutto insieme.

Hello my friends! Spring is here and so the tweeting birds out of my window! I love that the first thing that I hear when I wake up is the tweet of the birds. This situation made me choose this the Tweeting Bird digi designed by Some Odd Girl to create a spring card.

Ciao a tutti! La primavera è arrivata, e con lei i cinguettii degli uccellini che si rincorrono fuori dalla finestra! Adoro che la prima cosa che sento al risveglio è proprio il canto degli uccelli. La situazione che stiamo vivendo ha fatto sì che scegliessi proprio il timbro digitale Tweeting Bird disegnato da Some Odd Girl per creare una card primaverile.

First of all, I printed the bird on white cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut. I decided to add some dots here and there to add more interest to the image.

Prima di tutto ho stampato l'uccellino su del cartoncino bianco, l'ho colorato con i pennarelli ad alcol e ritagliati. Ho deciso di aggiungere qualche puntino qua e là, per aggiungere dinamicità alla figura.

I die cut a circle from a white panel, then built a background with cloud stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Finally I stamped a sentiment that says "Best wishes", adding the bird and the note with foam tape.

Ho fustellato un cerchio da un pannello bianco, poi ho creato lo sfondo con uno stencil con le nuvole e dell'inchiostro Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. Infine ho timbrato l'augurio e ho aggiunto l'uccellino e la nota musicale con del nastro gommato.

With the same image in a smaller size I decided to create a bookmark with pink, kraft and white cardstocks.

Con la stessa immagine di dimensioni minori ho deciso di creare un segnalibro con cartoncini rosa, kraft e bianco.

In this case I used brown and pink colors for the bird too, adding some dots with a colorless marker in order to brighten it up. I hope that you can feel the positiveness of this image too!

In questo caso ho optato per i colori marrone e rosa anche per l'uccellino, aggiungendo qualche puntino con il pennarello blender per illuminare un po' l'immagine. Spero che anche voi riusciate a sentire la positività trasmessa da questo uccellino!

Hello stampers! New week, new release by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, all about "Women and Snarky" images. Today's card is going to be both feminine and irriverent too: I think that the inside of a good snarky card is as important as the outside. As every single week of April, we're having a blog hop full of inspiration and prizes:

La card di oggi è sia femminile che irriverente: penso che l'interno di una card snarky sia importante tanto quanto l'esterno. The starting point of my card was the hockey stick sentiment, which could be easily cut in 2 parts. I decided to create a romantic panel for the outside since the focus is on kindness, keeping the second part of the sentiment for the inside.

Il punto di partenza della mia card è stata il nuovo augurio Hockey Stick, che poteva essere facilmente diviso in 2 parti. Ho deciso di creare un pannello romantico all'esterno - visto che il focus qui è sulla gentilezza -, tenendomi la seconda parte per l'interno.

This is a very easy card, in fact I only need a picture to give you the idea of the complete process. First of all I die cut a white cardstock multiple times using an heart balloon die. I picked a rose cardstock for the back of the diecut panel and framed the first part of the sentiment with black.

Questa è una card molto semplice, infatti basta una sola immagine per darvi un'idea dell'intero processo creativo. Prima di tutto ho fustellato un cartoncino bianco più volte, utilizzando una fustella palloncino a forma di cuore. Ho scelto un cartoncino rosa da apporre sul retro di quello fustellato e ho incorniciato la prima parte del sentiment con un cartoncino nero.

At this point I sticked the white panel on the rose one with foam tape and everything on a card base. I also glued the sentiment at the bottom.

A questo punto ho incollato il pannello fustellato su quello rosa, aiutandomi con del nastro gommato. Ho posizionato il tutto su una base e ho fissato la scritta sulla parte bassa della card.

The inside is very simple: I glued the second part of the snarky sentiment with the Hockey Stick and Puck image. L'interno è stato ancora più semplice da realizzare: ho incollato la seconda parte della scritta irriverente e ho aggiunto l'immagine Hockey Stick and Puck, precedentemente timbrata e ritagliata. Hello my friends! This is the second week focused on the new release by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and today I have 2 cards all about knights and castles! Ciao amici! Questa è la seconda settimana dedicata alla nuova release di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps! Oggi vi voglio mostrare due card in stile fantasy, con cavalieri e castelli. Il cavaliere medievale è uno dei nuovissimi timbri e si sposa perfettamente con il vecchio castello. Assicuratevi di seguire la hop per lasciarvi ispirare e cercare di vincere uno dei premi in palio:

I stamped 3 knights as I couldn't decide which color I was going to use. I picked red, green and blue alcohol makers, then fussy cut.

Ho timbrato 3 cavalieri visto che non riuscivo a decidere che colori utilizzare. Quindi alla fine li ho colorati tutti e 3 con i colori ad alcohol: uno rosso, uno verde e uno blu. Poi li ho ritagliati.

At this point I stamped the big castle stamp on a piece of warm grey paper with light brown ink. This panel will be the background of my card, as if it is a page of a storybook. Then I stamped the You're my knight sentiment on a strip of white cardstock.

A questo punto ho timbrato il grande castello su del cartoncino grigio con dell'inchiostro beige. Questo pannello sarà lo sfondo della mia card, come se si trattasse della pagina di un vecchio libro di leggende. Ho timbrato la scritta You're my knight su del cartoncino bianco.

Next I put everything together and, since I have all ready on my desk, I decided to create two cards very similar but still different: one with a red knight and the second part of the sentiment, the other one with the blue night and the first part of the sentiment. I hope you can notice how detailed the knight is! I added some sparkles (the armor is shining, isn't it?!) with gold and silver gel pens.

A seguire ho messo tutto insieme e, visto che avevo già tutto pronto sulla scrivania, ho deciso di realizzare due card molto simili ma comunque diverse: una con il cavaliere rosso e la seconda parte della scritta, l'altra con il cavaliere blu e la prima parte della scritta. Spero che potete notare i dettagli del cavaliere! Ho aggiunto un po' di scintillio (è o non è un'armatura scintillante?!) con delle penne gel oro e argento.
