Hello there! January was an hard month, especially for a friend of mine: I made this card for her, because she must be strong and fight like a superhero. I was searching for the best idea when I saw the Super Mae digi stamp by Some Odd Girl. I printed it on white cardstock and I used promarkers, gel pens and pencil to color her.

Ciao a tutti! Gennaio è stato un mese difficile, specialmente per una mia cara amica: ho realizzato questa card per lei, visto che deve essere forte e combattere come un supereroe. Mentre stavo cercando un'idea per questa card, mi sono imbattuta nel timbro Super Mae di Some Odd Girl. L'ho stampato su del cartoncino bianco e ho preso pennarelli, penne e matite per colorarla.

I chose pink and gold since she loves sparkling - so I need to re-create a trendy superhero! Then I fussy cut her and added a couple of white dots for the eyes.

Ho scelto il rosa e l'oro perché adora gli sbrilluccichii - per cui mi sono impegnata a ricreare una supergirl alla moda! Poi l'ho ritagliata e le ho aggiunto un paio di puntini bianchi per gli occhi.

Next I picked a white cardbase and blended some Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide on top of a Create a Smile stencil. I glued Super Mae with foam tape, I added some golden stars here and there and stamped the sentiment that says "For you".

Per finire ho predisposto la base per la card e ho sfumato del Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber su uno stencil di Create a Smile. Ho incollato Super Mae con del nastro gommato, ho aggiunto qualche stella dorata e ho timbrato l'augurio.

Hello my friends! Today I'm up on Some Odd Girl blog with this card full of magic. I created this starry background a couple of month ago in order to use it for a Christmas card, but I couldn't find the best match with the stamps so I left it behind. When I decided to use these two mini fairies by Some Odd Girl for a card, I picked it and... love!

Ho creato questo sfondo stellato ormai 2 mesi fa, con l'intento di utilizzarlo per una card natalizia...ma non sono riuscita a trovare un timbro abbinato che mi convincesse. Quando ho deciso di usare queste piccole fatine di Some Odd Girl all'interno di una card, l'ho ripreso in mano e...è stato amore a prima vista!

To build this background I placed a Create a Smile stencil on top of a kraft cardstock, then I covered it with 2 BoBunny glitter pastes and set it aside to dry. The thickness and shining of the stars are amazing!

Per realizzare questo sfondo ho posizionato lo stencil di Create a Smile sopra del cartoncino kraft, poi ho coperto il tutto con 2 paste glitter di BoBunny e ho lasciato ad asciugare. Lo spessore e la brillantezza delle stelline sono godibilissime al tatto e alla vista!

Then I printed the two fairies on white cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers and fussy cut, using the same hues I used for the background (kraft, blue, white).

Poi ho stampato le due fatine su del cartoncino bianco, le ho colorate con pennarelli ad alcohol e ho ritagliato, utilizzando le stesse tinte che avevo scelto per lo sfondo (beige, blu e bianco).

To finish the card, I glued the fairies on a strip of vellum on which I heat embossed a sentiment that says "Best wishes to a special friend".

Per finire, ho incollato le fatine su una striscia di vellum su cui avevo precedentemente embossato l'augurio con della polvere dorata.

Hello stampers! Today I'm sharing a card with lots of vegetables. I have to say that Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables... so I fell in love with this digital version designed by Kristy - Some Odd Girl. As I saw all those other little friends - Carrot and Radish - I decided to make a very unique friendship card.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi sono qui a condividere una card con moltissime verdure. Devo dire che i broccoli sono tra le mie preferite... per cui mi sono letteralmente innamorata della loro versione digitale, disegnata da Kristy di Some Odd Girl. Non appena ho visto anche tutti gli altri amici - Carota e Rapanello - ho deciso di realizzare una card d'amicizia davvero unica e particolare.

First of all I printed Broccoli, Carrot and Radish on a kraft cardstock and I took some Prismacolor pencils for coloring them. I love the effect of the pencils on kraft!

Prima di tutto ho stampato broccolo, carota e rapanello su del cartoncino kraft e ho preso le mie matite Prismacolor per colorarli. Adoro l'effetto delle matite su base kraft!

Coloring with pencils is time consuming, but it was worth it: the images just pop thanks to bright colors and the reference on the website is really useful to decide which color is better using. After coloring, I went over the edges with a black marker and fussy cut.

Colorare con le matite richiede tempo, ma ne vale sempre la pena: le immagini sembrano prendere vita grazie ai colori brillanti, e l'immagine presente sul sito come reference è davvero utile per decidere quali colori è meglio usare. Dopo la colorazione, sono passata sopra tutti i bordi con un pennarello nero e ho ritagliato.

Finally I put all of them on a piece of Dovecraft patterned paper with foam tape, I glued the panel on a kraft cardbase and I stamped a sentiment which says "One who finds a friends, finds a treasure".

Infine ho posizionato tutte le verdure su della carta patterned di Dovecraft con del nastro gommato, ho incollato il pannello su una base kraft e ho timbrato un augurio appropriato de "La Coppia Creativa".

Hello stampers! It's not spring time yet, but I missed coloring flowers so much, so I decided to stamp a bunch of ranunculus by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and create a classical card. One of my favorite color combos is pink and kraft (I mean, blue and kraft or white and kraft works as well), so I decided to use kraft for my base and pink for the flowers.

Ciao a tutti! Non è ancora primavera, ma mi manca davvero tanto colorare fiori, per cui ho deciso di timbrare un po' di ranuncoli di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps per realizzare una card classica. Una delle mie combinazioni di colori preferita sono il rosa e il kraft (anche se con il kraft sta bene tutto, anche il blu e il bianco), per cui ho deciso di utilizzare una base kraft e di colorare i fiori di rosa.

First of all, I stamped and colored 3 Ranunculus using 3 shades of pink. Then I fussy cut and stamped part of the Leafy Branch Tall multiple times.

Per cominciare ho timbrato e colorato 3 Ranuncoli utilizzando 3 diverse sfumature di rosa. Poi ho ritagliato tutto e ho timbrato parte dell'immagine Leafy Branch Tall più volte.

I colored the leaves with 3 shades of green and fussy cut as well.

Ho colorato le foglie con 3 tonalità di verde e ho ritagliato anche quelle, lasciando del bordo bianco.

To finish the card I took a piece of kraft cardstock and scored it with a bone folder multiple times. Next I glued the flowers and the leaves with foam and regulare tape, gold embossed a sentiment and added some white Nuvo Drops.

Per concludere la card ho preso del cartoncino kraft e ho creato delle righe con la pieghetta per creare un pattern. In seguito ho incollato fiori e foglie con nastro adesivo normale e gommato, ho embossato l'augurio in oro e ho aggiunto qualche Nuvo Drops bianca.

Hello my friends! I'm so happy to share this cute card with a couple of bunnies on it, featuring the adorable Teacup Bunny digi stamp by Some Odd Girl. The idea behind was building a scene with a sort of breakfast table, on which I placed two teacups... but hey, there were 2 bunnies there too!

Ciao a tutti! Sono felice di condividere con voi questa dolcissima card con un paio di coniglietti, ottenuti con l'adorabile timbro digitale Teacup Bunny di Some Odd Girl. L'idea che sta dietro a questo biglietto è quella di ricreare l'accogliente scena della colazione, con la tavola apparecchiata e due tazze da thé...ma hey, ci sono anche due coniglietti qui!

I printed 2 teacup bunnies on a regular white cardstock in two different sizes: according to the rules of perspective, the one in the foreground is bigger than the other one on the background. I colored everything with alcohol markers, using different shades of colors for the bunnies and the same hues for the cups, and fussy cut. 

Ho stampato due coniglietti in tazza su del normale cartoncino bianco, in due diverse dimensioni: seguendo le regole della prospettiva, quello in primo piano è più grande di quello in secondo piano. Ho colorato il tutto con i pennarelli ad alcohol, utilizzando diverse sfumature di colore per i coniglietti ma mantenendo le stesse per le tazze, e ho ritagliato. 

Finally I took a piece of kraft cardstock, a strip of white diecut cardstock and a thin strip of patterned paper to build up the table surface with a tablecloth. I glued everything on my base, I stamped the sentiment which says "For you" and I adhered the teacups with regular and foam adhesive.

Infine ho preso del cartoncino kraft, una striscia di cartoncino bianco fustellato e una striscia fine di carta decorativa al fine di realizzare il piano d'appoggio dei miei soggetti, costituito da un tavolo con tovaglia. Ho incollato il tutto sulla base, ho timbrato il mio augurio e ho fissato le due tazze con nastro semplice e gommato.

Today's card is between Winter and Spring, since I put the tweeting bird digi stamp by Some Odd Girl on a snowy background. After printing it on a piece of white cardstock, I colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.

La card di oggi si posiziona tra l'inverno e la primavera, visto che ho posizionato l'uccellino cinguettante di Some Odd Girl su uno sfondo innevato. Dopo averlo timbrato su del cartoncino bianco, l'ho colorato con i pennarelli ad alcohol e l'ho ritagliato.

For the background I used an old stencil with trees and blended Tattered Rose and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I added some white dots here and there as if it was snowing and I stamped a sentiment at the bottom that says "Only the dreamer can fly".

Per lo sfondo ho utilizzato un vecchio stencil con alberi e ho sfumato con gli inchiostri Distress Tattered Rose e Picked Raspberry. Ho aggiunto qualche puntino bianco qua e là come se stesse nevicando e ho timbrato l'augurio in basso.

Hello everyone and happy 2020! I'm finally back to cardmaking after days full of love, food and relax. Thinking of last year, I feel very proud of myself since I was able to deal with changes and choices with a positive state of mind. Thank you 2019, welcome 2020! Today I want to share 2 cards for Valentine's Day with lots of stamping and embossing, using Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps supplies - this is one of my projects with no coloring at all.

Ciao a tutti e felice 2020! Sono finalmente tornata alle card dopo giorni ricchi di amore, cibo e relax. Pensando all'anno appena concluso, mi sento molto fiera di me stessa, visto che sono stata in grado di fronteggiare cambiamenti e scelte di vita con positività e quasi un pizzico di ottimismo. Grazie 2019, benvenuto 2020! Oggi voglio condividere 2 card per San Valentino utilizzando timbri di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps e sfruttando l'heat embossing - questo è uno dei miei progetti con nessun tipo di colorazione.

First of all I created 2 backgrounds with the Tulip Background stamp: the first one is made by inking the stamp with purple ink, while the second one is made with Versamark Ink and clear heat embossing. The MISTI tool just saved my life since I needed to stamp the image multiple times to achieve a good impression.

Prima di tutto ho creato 2 sfondi con il timbro Tulip Background: il primo l'ho ottenuto con un inchiostro viola, il secondo l'ho realizzando timbrando l'immagine con dell'inchiostro Versamark e embossando con la polvere trasparente. Il MISTI mi ha salvata visto che ho dovuto timbrare l'immagine più volte per raggiungere una stampata precisa.

Next I stamped the couple In Love again with Versamark ink, covered with gold embossing powder, heat embossed and fussy cut.

In seguito ho timbrato la coppia In Love sempre con dell'inchiostro Versamark, l'ho ricoperta con polvere da embossing dorata, embossata a caldo e ritagliata.

Then I adhered the couples on the backgrounds using foam tape and added a heat embossed sentiment too: one version has the couple on the right and the sentiment on top, the other one has the couple in the center and the sentiment at the bottom.

Poi ho incollato le due coppie sui due sfondi, utilizzando del nastro gommato e aggiungendo un augurio - anche lui embossato in oro: in una versione la coppia sta sulla destro e la scritta sopra di essa, nell'altra la coppia sta al centro e la scritta proprio al di sotto.

To finish them off, I added some white Nuvo Drops. Plus, Valentine's Day and Love stamps are 20% off in the shop during the month of January:
