Hi there! Today I used the beautiful Leafy Branch tall stamp by So Suzy Stamps to create a card inspired by the one and the only Yana Smakula. I've been following her since ages and I love her clean, simple and colorful style. She often creates her own backgrounds by stamping and coloring some stamped images.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi ho utilizzato il bellissimo timbro Leafy Branch tall di So Suzy Stamps per creare una card tutta ispirata a quelle di Yana Smakula, una delle cardmaker che più adoro. La seguo da anni e amo il suo stile pulito, semplice e coloratissimo. Spesso crea gli sfondi delle sue card timbrando e colorando immagini timbrate.

I decided to do the same with this branch of leaves that I inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink and stamped multiple times on a piece of watercolor paper - not the best choice, I know.

Ho deciso di fare la stessa con questo ramo di foglie che ho timbrato più volte con del Distress Ink Antique Linen su della carta acquarellabile - non è stata una scelta felice, ne sono consapevole.

Next I coloured all of them with 3 or 4 shades of green prismacolor pencils (I really enjoy the no-line coloring technique!).

Ho colorato poi tutte le immagini utilizzando 3 o 4 sfumature di matite primacolor verdi (mi piace proprio la tecnica di colorazione "no-line"!).

Finally I chose the "Plant a seed" sentiment and I heat embossed in white on black. I trimmed every line of the sentiment and placed them in the center of the card with foam adhesive. I mounted the panel on a black cardbase and I added some white Nuvo Drops as final touches.

Infine ho scelto la scritta "Plant a seed" e l'ho embossata in bianco su cartoncino nero. Ho tagliato ogni riga dell'augurio e le ho posizionate al centro della card con dell'adesivo gommato. Ho montato il pannello su una base nera e ho aggiunto delle Nuvo Drops bianche come tocco finale.

I love this card because I only needed a couple of stamps and a lot of coloring. The final result is clean and bright, and that's exactly what I was looking for!

Mi piace molto il risultato ottenuto perché ho dovuto utilizzare solo un paio di timbri - ma un sacco di colorazione. L'effetto è pulito, semplice ma vivace, esattamente quello che stavo cercando!

Hello guys! Today's card is part of a new monthly challenge from So Suzy Stamps and the theme for May is quite interesting because it's all about masculine cards. You'll find more info at the end of this post. I wanted to avoid vintage look and DIY-items-related cards, so I used the Gumball Machine set Lg. Everyone loves candies, so I thought that the gumball machine would work for masculine cards too. And this one is a very simple and quick one to made!

Ciao a tutti! La card di oggi fa parte di una nuova sfida mensile indetta da So Suzy Stamps. Il tema per maggio è particolarmente interessante, visto che riguarda le card per maschietti - trovate più info a riguardo alla fine del post. Ho voluto evitare di giocare la carta del vintage o delle card con attrezzi DIY, per cui ho deciso di utilizzare il distributore di caramelle che ha fatto sognare bambini di tutte le età. E visto che a tutti piacciono le caramelle, il tema mi è sembrato adatto anche a una card al maschile!

First I stamped the Gumball Machine with Memento Tuxedo Black and I coloured it with promarker pens. Then I fussy cut it and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I did the same for the little colorful candies.

Anzitutto ho timbrato il distributore di caramelle con dell'inchiostro Memento nero e l'ho colorato con i promarker. L'ho ritagliato e ho aggiunto dei punti luce con una penna gel bianca. Ho fatto lo stesso con le piccole caramelle colorate.

Then I took a white cardbase and I sponged a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Ink at the bottom. Next I added the images and I stamped the sentiment near them. Final touch? A layer of Nuvo Clear Drops on the glass of the gumball machine.

A questo punto ho preso una base bianca e vi ho applicato del Pumice Stone Distress Ink nella parte bassa del pannello frontale. In seguito ho incollato le immagini ed ho timbrato l'augurio accanto ad essere. Tocco finale? Uno strato di Nuvo Clear Drops sul vetro del distributore.

Hello, my friends! Today is the day of So Suzy Stamps and Crackerbox Stamps Anniversary... how exciting! This post is part of a Blog Hop: you can find more info down below!

I'm a So Suzy Stamps DT member since June 2016. It was my first - and only, for a few - Design Team and I was so scared and excited as I was chosen by Suzanne and Justine! So I entered an international team, I began writing my blog post in English, being part of the international community.

Ciao amici! Oggi è il gran giorno: si festeggia l'anniversario di So Suzy Stamps e Crackerbox... quanto sono felice! Faccio parte del DT di So Suzy Stamps da giugno 2016. E' stato il mio primo Design Team - e per un poco, anche l'unico -, ero allo stesso tempo spaventata e agitata quando vidi di essere stata scelta da Suzanne e Justine! Così sono entrata in un team internazionale, ho cominciato a scrivere i miei post in doppia lingua e a prendere parte a gruppi e community di respiro internazionale.

Time flies and things change: DT members, So Suzy Stamps owner, new stamps and designers. But as things change, they keep to be the same: friendship grows, new people arrive, new idea come: so I'm very happy to celebrate today with a couple of cards, saying a big "Thank you" to all the people behind So Suzy Stamps, present and past. Well, let's get it started!

Il tempo vola e le cose cambiano: membri del DT, proprietari di So Suzy Stamps, timbri nuovi e nuovi designer. Spesso però le cose cambiano per rimanere simili a sé stesse: l'amicizia è andata aumentando, sono arrivate nuove persone, sono nate idee originali: proprio per questo sono davvero felice di festeggiare oggi con un paio di card, dicendo "grazie" a tutte le persone dietro So Suzy, nel presente e nel passato. Bene, ora cominciamo!

I made the first card by realizing my own background with Distess Inks (Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers), blending and re-activating them with water droplets.

Ho realizzato la prima card partendo da uno sfondo creato ad hoc con i Distress Inks (Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers), riattivati con qualche goccia d'acqua.

Then I stamped the "Birds on Branch" with Memento Tuxedo Black in order to color with promarkers; next I fussy cut. At this point I trimmed 2 strips of white cardstock that I wanted to add at the top and at the bottom of the card base. Before that, I stamped the sentiment "You're Amazing". And this is the finished card:

In seguito ho timbrato gli uccellini sull'albero con del Memento nero, così da poterli colorare con i promarkes. Poi ho ritagliato il tutto, ho preso due strisce di cartoncino bianco che ho voluto aggiungere ai lati della base. Prima di fissarli, ho timbrato la scritta "You're Amazing". E questa è la card finita:

The second one is very similar, I only changed the color scheme for the birds, added a green patterned paper and the "Thinking of you" sentiment.

La seconda card è parecchio simile, ho solo cambiato i colori degli uccellini, aggiunto una carta decorativa verde e la scritta "Thinking of you".
