Hello stampers! My mind is whispering "Christmas cards" all day long, so here I am with another Holiday card for Some Odd Girl! To make this card I use lots of brown shades with just a bit of white, green and red.

Ciao amici! La mia mente continua a bisbigliare "biglietti di Natale", per cui ecco qui l'ennesima (e non ultima!) card natalizia per Some Odd Girl! Per realizzarla ho puntato tantissimo sul marrone e sulle sue sfumature, abbinandolo con un pochino di bianco, verde e rosso.

First of all I printed the Mini Gingerbread Man digi stamp on white paper, colored it with alcohol markers and then fussy cut. I added a white dot in each black eye because in this way it seems coming to life.

Prima di tutto ho stampato il timbro digitale Mini Gingerbread Man su della carta bianca, l'ho colorato con i pennarelli ad alcohol e poi l'ho ritagliato. Ho aggiunto un puntino bianco su entrambi gli occhietti perché questo particolare gli dà vitalità, secondo me.

Next I chose a patterned paper by ModaScrap and I die cut an hill from green cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment - that says "Merry Christmas" - and I glued everything onto a kraft cardbase. To make the gingerbread man pop, I used foam adhesive.

Poi ho scelto una carta patterned di ModaScrap e ho fustellato una collina da del cartoncino verde. Ho embossato l'augurio e ho incollato il tutto su del cartoncino kraft di base. Per far risaltare l'omino di pan di zenzero, ho utilizzato del nastro gommato.

Hello my friends! Today I'm on Some Odd Girl blog to tell you how this card was born. In fact, my first idea was to make a spooky card with this Mini Clown digi stamp, inspired by horror movies. As I was coloring it, I changed my mind and I decided to make something different, uncategorized, with a sort of "Circus" atmosphere.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi sono sul blog di Some Odd Girl per raccontarvi come è nata questa card. Infatti ero partita con l'idea di realizzare qualcosa per Halloween con questo Mini Clown, ispirandomi ai film horror (che tanto non vedo mai!). Mentre lo stavo colorando, ho cambiato idea e ho deciso di realizzare qualcosa di diverso, fuori dagli schemi, con una sorta di atmosfera da circo.

I followed my instinct and I chose a color palette made of grey, red, yellow and blue. 

I drew some stars all around the clown and fussy cut everything. I glued the panel on a grey cardbase with foam tape, I stamped the sentiment that say "smile, cheese" and I went for a snarky card.

Ho seguito l'istinto e ho scelto una palette di colori fatta di grigi, rossi, gialli e blu.

Ho disegnato qualche stella intorno al clown e ho ritagliato tutto. Ho incollato il pannello su una base grigia, dandogli rilievo con del nastro gommato. Ho timbrato la scritta e ho deciso di concludere una card irriverente.

I laugh every time I see the sentiment and the clown's face! 

In general I love to plan in advance what to do because I work more focused, but changing my mind is a great way to end up with something new - even if the process is more time consuming!

In generale adoro programmare in anticipo cosa fare, perché la cosa mi permette di concentrarmi e risparmiare tempo, ma cambiare idea e andare avanti a istinto è un ottimo modo per realizzare qualcosa di diverso!

Ciao a tutti e... buon Snarktober Fest (non saprei proprio tradurlo al meglio)! Oggi partecipo a questo evento dai toni irriverenti con una card realizzata grazie ai materiali di Crackerbox Palace & So Suzy Stamps - che, tra l'altro, ha una notevole selezione di timbri "snarky":

I love snarky cards on clean&simple backgrounds, so I chose my sentiment and only a couple of images to combine with.

Mi piacciono le card irriverenti quando hanno uno stile molto semplice, per cui ho scelto un sentiment e solo un paio di immagini da abbinare.



I stamped the wine glass multiple times on a piece of white cardstock using the beautiful "Mint to be" pad from Catherine Pooler. Then I stamped the sentiment on the right of the panel, using a MISTI tool for a bold impression.

Ho timbrato i bicchieri di vino più volte su del cartoncino bianco, utilizzando la bellissima tinta di colore "Mint to be" di Catherine Pooler. In seguito ho timbrato l'augurio sulla destra, utilizzando il MISTI per ottenere una timbrata molto decisa.


Then I stamped the wine bottle on a piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in order to color with Promarker pens. I stamped the small wine grape on the label of the bottle, filling it with a gold gel pen.

Ho poi timbrato anche la bottiglia di vino su del cartoncino bianco con del Memento nero, così da poterlo poi colorare con i Promarkers. Ho anche aggiunto un piccolo grappolo d'uva sull'etichetta della bottiglia, che ho poi riempito con della penna gel oro.



Finally I put everything together, adding some Nuvo Glitter drops here and there. Plus, Crackerbox Palace & So Suzy Stamps are putting snarky stamps on sale for 15% off from October 10th to October 14th!

Infine ho messo tutto insieme, aggiungendo qualche Nuvo drops qua e là. In più, Crackerbox Palace & So Suzy Stamps hanno i timbri snarky scontati del 15% dal 10 ottobre al 14!

Hello cardmakers! Here I am with a new project for Crackerbox and So Suzy Stamps with Marco, the sweetest turtle in the world! It's been a while since I used this adorable stamp, but it's so cool for birthday cards in summer! As usual, this is a very clean and simple card and you need few supplies to recreate it.

Ciao creative! Oggi vi mostro un nuovo progetto per So Suzy Stamps con protagonista Marco, la più dolce tartarughina del mondo! E' da un bel po' che non mi diverto insieme a lei, ma è carina da utilizzare nelle card per compleanni estivi! Come sempre, si tratta di una card semplice, pulita e per cui servono pochissimi strumenti.

I started by creating my own sea background using Distress Inks and the ink smooshing technique: all you have to do is sponging a bit of ink on a piece of clean acetate, sprinkling some water on top and gently press it onto the paper. You can do it multiple times, in this case I used Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I set it aside to dry and I sprinkled some waterdrops to add a touch of sea.

Ho cominciato creando il mio sfondo marino utilizzando i Distress Inks e la tecnica "ink smooshing": tutto ciò che bisogna fare è tamponare l'inchiostro su un foglio di acetato, spruzzare dell'acqua e premere gentilmente l'acetato sulla carta. Si può fare più di una volta, io in questo caso ho utilizzato Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers e Salty Ocean. Ho lasciato asciugare e ho spruzzato delle gocce d'acqua per aggiungere dettagli di oceano.

For the little turtle, I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with promarker pens. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Per quel che riguarda la tartarughina, l'ho timbrata con del Memento nero e l'ho colorata con i promarkers. Infine ho aggiunto dei punti luce con una penna gel bianca.

At this point I stamped the sentiment in black, adding the turtle, a frame diecut and some clear sequins. And that's all! Let's see what's going on during the month of July:
