Hello everyone! Today I'm back with another Easter card featuring So Suzy Stamps: since I have a couple of christian friends, this time I decided to create a religious one. I thought that the Cross with Lillies stamp could be perfect not only for a Holy Communion, but also for Easter.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi vi presento una seconda card pasquale, sempre utilizzando uno dei timbri della linea di So Suzy Stamps. Visto che ho un paio di amici molto credenti, ho deciso di variare e creare una card dall'atmosfera religiosa. Ed ho anche pensato che il timbro con la Croce ed i gigli potesse funzionare non solo per le Comunioni, ma anche per la Pasqua.

First I stamped the image onto a piece of kraft cardstock using some Versamark Ink: in this way I achieved the tone-on-tone impression I needed for the no-line coloring with Prismacolor pencils.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato l'immagine su del cartoncino kraft utilizzando dell'inchiostro Versamark: in questo modo ho ottenuto la timbrata tono-su-tono necessaria per la colorazione no-line con le matite Prismacolor.

For the coloring, I picked up 3 pencils for each color family and I added a bit of white all around the cross, both with a pencil and a white gel pen.

Per la colorazione ho scelto 3 matite per ogni colore ed ho aggiunto un po' di bianco tutto intorno alla croce, sia con una matita sia con una penna gel.

For finishing the card, I die cut the image using a rectangular die and I framed it with a larger rectangle. I added an Italian die cut sentiment in white which means "Happy Easter" and the card is ready!

Per finire la card, ho fustellato l'immagine utilizzando una fustella rettangolare e l'ho inquadrata in un rettangolo bianco leggermente più grande. Ho aggiunto un sentiment...e la card è pronta!

I kept it very simple, except for the coloring process - which was a bit time consuming, but it was worth it!

In ogni caso ho optato per un layout semplice e veloce, eccetto per la colorazione - che è stata un po' laboriosa...ma ne è valsa la pena!

Hello crafters! Today I have no card for you, since I decided to create a little Easter treat bag with the funny egg with feet stamp from So Suzy Stamps. I also found out that, if you don't like the feet, you could just cut them off and use only the egg... or both of them, like I did here.

Buongiorno a tutti! Oggi non ho card per voi, dato che ho deciso di realizzare una piccola scatolina per la Pasqua, con protagonisti i simpatici ovetti con i piedi di So Suzy Stamps. Tra l'altro, se non vi piacciono i piedi, potete giusto tagliarli via e usare solo l'ovetto... o entrambe le varianti, come ho fatto qui.

First I stamped tree eggs onto a piece of regular cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink, in order to do some no-line coloring with Promarker pens. I decided to keep the coloring very simple, avoiding all the decorations of the eggs, but I liked the lines that you can see underneath. I cut off the feet of two eggs and I added some extra details with the white gel pen.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato tre ovetti su del cartoncino bianco con il Distress Ink Antique Linen, così da sfruttare la colorazione no-line con i Promarker. Ho deciso di mantenermi semplice, evitando tutte le decorazioni presenti sulle uova. Mi è piaciuto però l'effetto vedo-non-vedo delle linee al di sotto della colorazione. Ho tagliato via i piedi di due uova e ho aggiunto dei dettagli con la penna bianca.

At this point I die cut and assembled a treat bag using kraft cardstock.

A questo punto ho fustellato e assemblato una scatolina realizzata con del cartoncino kraft.

Then I die cut a white grass with the border die from Lawn Fawn and I fixed it to all the sides of the bag.

Poi ho fustellato un bordo d'erba con la fustella Lawn Fawn, incollandola su tutti i lati.

Finally I glued the three eggs - only one had its feet. This is a cute treat bag for chocolates, candies and other goodies. Until the end of the month Floral Stamps are on sale at So Suzy Stamps shop, check them out!

Infine ho incollato i tre ovetti - ed uno solo di questi ha i piedini. Questa è proprio una carinissima scatoletta per cioccolatini, caramelle e altre amenità! E ricordate che fino alla fine del mese i timbri floreali sono in saldo nello shop di So Suzy, date un'occhiata!

Hello stampers! Today is a special day: the spring has sprung in So Suzy Stamps, so the DT is having a little blog hop celebrating the season with floral stamps - which are actually on sale in the shop! This time I decided to put aside the coloring, so I used the solid ranunculus stamp and I created a really simple card with a touch of gold.

Oggi è un giorno speciale: la primavera è sbocciata da So Suzy Stamps, così il DT ha deciso di mettere insieme un piccola Blog Hop per celebrare la stagione con un'esplosione di timbri floreali - che sono attualmente in saldo nello shop! Questa volta ho deciso di mettere da parte la colorazione e ho utilizzato il ranuncolo "pieno" per creare una card molto semplice, con un tocco d'oro.

First I stamped a couple of ranunculus with So Suzy Stamps Ink Bites (in Petunia Pink and Wild Watermelon) and I fussy cut them.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato un paio di ranuncoli con gli Ink Bites di So Suzy Stamps (in Petunia Pink e Wild Watermelon). Poi ho ritagliato il tutto.

Then I took two strips of gold foil and patterned paper, with a piece of white cardstock.
At this point I arranged everything on a card base, adding a sentiment that means "best wishes" and 3 green lines as stems.

In seguito ho preso due strisce di cartoncino dorato e di carta decorata, insieme a del cartoncino bianco. A questo punto ho messo insieme la card, sistemando le cose su una base bianca, aggiungendo una scritta che significa "best wishes"e 3 linee verdi come steli.

This is the final result: original, simple and great for any occasion!

Hello my friends! Today I have something different to share with you: a sympathy card. In Italy this type of cards is not popular - in any case, this is not a card that you really want to create or give to someone -, but I tried to create one with the beautiful feather and the touching sentiment from So Suzy Stamps. Plus, this is really a quick and simple card.

Ciao amici! Oggi sto per condividere qualcosa di diverso rispetto al solito: si tratta sempre di un biglietto, ma di condoglianze. Nel mondo anglosassone questo tipo di biglietto è noto come "sympathy card"; in Italia non è molto utilizzato - e non riguarda occasioni piacevoli -, ma ho voluto ugualmente mettermi alla prova con questa card, che vede come protagonista un paio di timbri di So Suzy Stamps. In più, si tratta di una card davvero semplice e veloce.

For this card I wanted to achieve a monochromatic look and so I choose Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. I watercolored it with a large-tip brush onto a piece of regular cardstock, tracing horizontal lines. Next I took the same ink, I added some water and I tapped a brush with a smaller tip onto the panel. I set the cardstock aside to dry.

Per questo biglietto ho voluto mantenere un certo monocromatismo, così ho scelto tinte neutre ed il Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. Ho acquerellato l'Oxide con un pennello a punta larga, tracciando su del cartoncino bianco delle linee orizzontali. In seguito ho preso lo stesso inchiostro, ho aggiunto dell'acqua e ho picchiettato un pennello dalla punta fine intriso di colore direttamente sul cartoncino di base. Poi ho lasciato asciugare.

I took the two stamps I needed from the latest release of So Suzy Stamps and I stamped them with Versafine Black Ink. As I wanted a perfect impression, I used the MISTI stamping tool.

Finally I picked a piece of cardstock really similar to my ink, I glued everything onto a card base and the card is finished:

Ho preso i due timbri di cui avevo bisogno dall'ultima release di So Suzy Stamps e li ho timbrati con dell'inchiostro Versafine nero. Visto che volevo una bella timbrata, ho usato il mio inseparabile MISTI.
Infine sono riuscita a recuperare un cartoncino dal colore molto simile a quello dell'inchiostro utilizzato, ho incollato il tutto su una base e la card è finita:

You can use any color you like for the background - pink and yellow would be great color combo as well! This project remembers me that we can create a card with such a little amount of supplies: this is something to keep in mind.

Si possono utilizzare diversi colori per lo sfondo - penso che anche il giallo e il rosa avrebbero funzionato bene! Il bello di questo progetto è che mi ha ricordato che si possono creare card con anche una piccola quantità di materiale: una cosa che dovrei tenere a mente.

Hello cardmakers! Today I'm sharing my latest card for So Suzy Stamps: I really wanted to use pastels and leftovers with the Cupcake Lady designed by my friend Olesya. Her characters are so unique, so I tried to keep the card focused on the lady and create a background that would pair as well.

Buongiorno cardmakers! Oggi sono qui a condividere con voi la mia più recente creazione per So Suzy Stamps: questa volta mi sono voluta concentrare sui colori pastello e su alcuni rimasugli, abbinandoli alla Miss Cupcake disegnata dalla mia amica Olesya. I suoi personaggi sono molto originali, tanto che ho lasciato che il timbro fosse anche focus principale della card - abbinandolo ad uno sfondo che lo valorizzasse.

First I stamped the Cupcake Lady with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then I coloured it with promarker pens and fussy cut. I added some details with white and black gel pens together with a bit of Nuvo Clear Drops for the eyes.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato Miss Cupcake con dell'inchiostro Memento, poi l'ho colorata con i promarker e ritagliata. Ho aggiunto alcuni dettagli con le penne nera e bianca, insieme con un poco di Nuvo Clear Drops per dare risalto agli occhi.

At this point I looked for leftovers in my stash: I found two strips of patterned paper and a paper doily. Then I cut a panel of kraft cardstock and a white circle, on which I stamped the sentiment. Finally I fixed everything on a cardbase, adding Nuvo Drops here and there in light blue and white.

A questo punto ho cercato alcuni ritagli di vecchi progetti: ho trovato due strisce di card pattern e un centrino di carta. Ho preso un pannello di cartoncino kraft e un cerchio bianco, su cui ho timbrato l'augurio. Infine ho incollato il tutto sulla base, aggiungendo Nuvo Drops in azzurro e bianco.

I love how it turned out, especially for the color palette I decided to use! I hope that you like it too!

Sono proprio soddisfatta del risultato, specialmente per la palette di colori che ho deciso di usare. Spero che piaccia anche a voi!

The best title for this card with one of my favorite characters of the new release by So Suzy Stamps: Minions! This one with his hands up is perfect for holding the big cupcake designed by Olesya. For that - and because the Minion was smiling - I choose the sentiment "you can't be sad when you're holding a cupcake". All these stamps are brand new... and at the end of the post you'll find some good news for shopping!

Il titolo perfetto per questa card, che vede protagonista uno dei miei personaggi preferiti della nuova release di So Suzy Stamps: i Minions! Questo in particolare, con le braccia alzate, lo trovo adattissimo al grande cupcake disegnato da Olesya. Per questo - e visto che il Minion sta sorridendo - ho scelto il sentiment che dice "non puoi essere triste se stai sollevando un cupcake". Tutti questi timbri sono nuovissimi... e alla fine del post troverete anche buone notizie per lo shopping!

First I stamped the cupcake and the Minion with Memento Black ink, coloured them with promarkers and fussy cut.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato il cupcake e il Minion con del Memento nero, li ho colorati con il promarker e poi ritagliati.

Then I took a long piece of white cardstock and I sponged some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide with a stencil. At this point I decided where to put the sentiment and I stamped it with Memento. Finally I fixed the images with some foam adhesive and I glued everything onto a black cardbase.

In seguito ho preso una lunga striscia di cartoncino bianco e ho applicato del Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide con uno stencil. A questo punto ho deciso dove mettere il sentiment e l'ho timbrato con il Memento. Infine ho incollato le varie immagini con del biadesivo spessorato e ho fissato tutto su un cartoncino nero di base.
