Hello cardmakers! Here I am with a new project for Crackerbox and So Suzy Stamps with Marco, the sweetest turtle in the world! It's been a while since I used this adorable stamp, but it's so cool for birthday cards in summer! As usual, this is a very clean and simple card and you need few supplies to recreate it.

Ciao creative! Oggi vi mostro un nuovo progetto per So Suzy Stamps con protagonista Marco, la più dolce tartarughina del mondo! E' da un bel po' che non mi diverto insieme a lei, ma è carina da utilizzare nelle card per compleanni estivi! Come sempre, si tratta di una card semplice, pulita e per cui servono pochissimi strumenti.

I started by creating my own sea background using Distress Inks and the ink smooshing technique: all you have to do is sponging a bit of ink on a piece of clean acetate, sprinkling some water on top and gently press it onto the paper. You can do it multiple times, in this case I used Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I set it aside to dry and I sprinkled some waterdrops to add a touch of sea.

Ho cominciato creando il mio sfondo marino utilizzando i Distress Inks e la tecnica "ink smooshing": tutto ciò che bisogna fare è tamponare l'inchiostro su un foglio di acetato, spruzzare dell'acqua e premere gentilmente l'acetato sulla carta. Si può fare più di una volta, io in questo caso ho utilizzato Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers e Salty Ocean. Ho lasciato asciugare e ho spruzzato delle gocce d'acqua per aggiungere dettagli di oceano.

For the little turtle, I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with promarker pens. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Per quel che riguarda la tartarughina, l'ho timbrata con del Memento nero e l'ho colorata con i promarkers. Infine ho aggiunto dei punti luce con una penna gel bianca.

At this point I stamped the sentiment in black, adding the turtle, a frame diecut and some clear sequins. And that's all! Let's see what's going on during the month of July:

A questo punto ho timbrato l'augurio in nero, aggiungendo la tartaruga, una cornice fustellata ed alcune paiettes trasparenti. Questo è tutto! Vediamo quali sono le promozioni per il mese di luglio:

I have a thing for flowers and today I decided to use one of the blooms designed by my friend Olesya with embossing and watercolors.

I chose the simple "Here for you" sentiment and I just wanted to achieve a soft look, totally inspired by Biirka's project.

Ho un debole per i fiori ed oggi ho deciso di usare uno dei fiori disegnati dalla mia amica Olesya con embossing e acquerelli.
Ho scelto il semplice augurio "Here for you" e ho voluto ottenere un effetto leggero, totalmente ispirata da questo progetto di Biirka.

First of all, I stamped a bunch of flowers (I only needed 3) with Versamark Ink on a piece of watercolor paper. Then I covered with white embossing powder and heat set them.

At this point I used my Lyra watercolor marker, I coloured the flowers with a bit of water and fussy cut them.

Prima di tutto, ho timbrato un po' di fiori (ma alla fine ne ho utilizzati solo 3) con del Versamark Ink su un foglio acquarellabile. Poi ho coperto il tutto con la polvere da embossing bainca e l'ho scaldata con il mio heat gun. A questo punto ho usato il mio pennarello acquarellabile Lyra, ho colorato i fiori con un po' di acqua e li ho ritagliati.

I die cut a rectangle from white cardstock, then I blended some Broken China Distress Ink on the bottom of the panel and I sprinkled some water to add more interest to the background.

Ho fustellato un rettangolo a partire da un cartoncino bianco, ho sfumato il Distress Ink Broken China sulla parte bassa del pannello e ho spruzzato dell'acqua per aggiungere qualcosa in più allo sfondo.

I stamped other flowers with second generation stamping technique using a grey ink. Then I stamped the sentiment in black and I arranged the watercolored flowers all around. Then I glued them down with foam tape.

Ho timbrato altri fiori con la tecnica della timbrata di seconda generazione, utilizzato un inchiostro grigio. Poi ho stampato l'augurio con un inchiostro nero e ho posizionato i fiori acquarellati tutto intorno. Poi li ho incollati con del nastro gommato.

Oggi è il gran giorno: finalmente la Release di aprile di So Suzy Stamps è disponibile!
Ci sono moltissimi fiori, scritte d'auguri...e anche qualche sorpresa. Cosa state aspettando? Scoprite i nuovi timbri, passate in rassegna tutte le creazioni del DT e lasciatevi ispirare!
Ho creato questa card romantica utilizzando uno dei nuovi fiori insieme a un timbro semplice in grassetto - e con un font bellissimo -!

First of all, I die cut two windows from a rectangle of white cardstock.

Anzitutto ho fustellato 2 finestre all'interno di un cartoncino bianco (precedentemente fustellato con una fustella rettangolare più grande).


Then I stamped a bunch of flowers with my MISTI, even using the Mirror Image Stamp from So Suzy Stamps - in case I needed some reflected images. I inked my stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black because it's promarker-friendly.
I coloured all my flowers with pink shades and I fussy cut them.

Ho poi timbrato un po' di fiori con il MISTI, perfino utilizzando il Mirror Image Stamp - nel caso avessi bisogno di immagini riflesse. Ho inchiostrato il timbro con del Memento Tuxedo Black perché è un inchiostro che non sbava con i promarkers.
Ho colorato i miei fiori con dei pennarelli dalle tinte rosa e poi li ho ritagliati.


To finish the card, I picked a white card base and I sprinkled some Tattered Rose Distress Ink on it, using a brush and a bit of water. Then I stamped the sentiment between the windows and I arrenged the flowers and fixed them with foam tape, as if they pop over the windows.

Per finire la card, ho preso una base bianca e ho spruzzato delle gocce di Distress Ink "Tattered Rose" grazie a un pennello e a un po' d'acqua. Poi ho timbrato l'augurio tra una finestra e l'altra e ho disposto ed incollato i fiori con del nastro gommato, come se sporgessero dalle finestre.


This is the final result: I hope you can notice the Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew - it dries clear! - that I added in the center of the flowers!

Questo è il risultato finale: spero che riusciate a notare le gocce di Nuvo Crystal Drops - che è trasparente - e che ho aggiunto al centro dei fiori!

Simple Thinking of You

Oggi prendo parte allo "speciale" di So Suzy Stamps dedicato al timbro Tulip Background insieme ad alcune compagne d'avventura: ci siamo focalizzate su questo bellissimo timbro e l'abbiamo usato per ispirarvi in modi molto diversi! Per cui assicuratevi di fare un giro e dare un'occhiata a tutti i progetti che condivideremo oggi!

Questa è la card che ho fatto: la primavera sta arrivando e con lei la voglia di colori, per cui ho deciso di creare una card con i colori dell'arcobaleno.

I picked up a bunch of Distress Inks - in particular: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry.

I took a piece of watercolor cardstock, on which I stamped my Tulip Background Stamp using Versamark Ink. Then I covered it with white embossing powder and heat embossed.

At this point I sponged all my Distress Inks: the embossing resists to them, so the design is totally revealed by the colors!

Ho scelto un po' di Distress Inks - in particolare: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves e Picked Raspberry.
Ho preso anche un foglio di carta acquarellabile, su cui ho timbrato il mio sfondo usando del Versamark Ink. Poi ho coperto il tutto con della polvere da embossing bianca e ho embossato.
A questo punto ho applicato i Distress con il blending tool: l'embossing resiste, visto che il colore porta in superficie la trama bianca del design di base!

I cut out the background panel to 5 stripes in order to make it more interesting.

I wanted to leave this card simple and to have the background as my focal point, so I decided to add only a piece of vellum and a black die cut. As you can see, I die cut the word "Hello" three time and I glued them together to give more dimension.

Ho tagliato il pannello di sfondo in modo da ottenere 5 strisce.
Ho voluto lasciare la card più semplice possibile in modo da focalizzare l'attenzione sullo sfondo, per cui ho deciso di aggiungere solo un ovale in vellum e una fustellata nera. Come si può vedere, la scritta "Hello" è stata fustellata ed incollata su 3 livelli, per dare più tridimensionalità.

Finally, I added some Nuvo Drops clear onto the die cut as well as on the background.

Nuvo Crystal Drops - Morning Dew

Hello my friends! Here I am with a bunch of romantic tags dedicated to some amazing friends of mine. So Suzy Stamps has new owners, and I want to welcome Vicky and thank Suzy with these handmade tags using So Suzy Stamps supplies only.

I had this Rose Bloom stamp in my stash and I really wanted to use it in order to improve my no-line coloring with watercolors.

Cari amici, oggi vi presento tre romantiche tag che vorrei dedicare a alcune fantastiche amiche. So Suzy Stamps ha dei nuovi proprietari, per cui vorrei dare il benvenuto a Vicky e ringraziare allo stesso tempo Suzanne con queste tag, realizzate utilizzando solo articoli di So Suzy Stamps.
Era da un po' che avevo il timbro Rose Bloom e volevo usarlo per migliorare la mia tecnica di colorazione "no-line" con gli acquerelli.

I cut out a piece of watercolor paper as a tag and I used my MISTI to press down the Rose Bloom stamp with Antique Linen Distress Ink. This is a light shade of color and you will not see it after the coloring!

Ho ritagliato delle tag da un foglio di carta acquerellabile e ho usato il MISTI per timbrare il Rose Bloom con il Distress Ink Antique Linen.

Once it dried, I picked up Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and I used them as watercolors. I also stamped another rose on a piece of scratch paper, so that I could see the petals and the shadows during the coloring process. Then I started to add color, trying to give dimension to each petal.

Una volta asciutto, ho preso i Distress Inks Antique Linen e Vintage Photo e li ho utilizzati come acquerelli. Ho anche timbrato un'altra rosa su un foglio di brutta, così da poter vedere i petali e le ombre durante la colorazione. Poi ho cominciato a colorare, cercando di dare tridimensionalità a ogni petalo.

I did the same thing with the leaves, which I colored in Antique Linen. Then I added some little spots of Vintage Photo just tapping a brush, the sentiment You're Amazing and a bit of twine.

Ho fatto la stessa cosa con le foglie, che ho invece colorato in Antique Linen. Poi ho aggiunto delle piccole macchie di Vintage Photo tamburellando su un pennello intriso di colore, la scritta You're Amazing e un po' di twine.

These are 3 tags I made using the same technique but different shades of Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves and Vintage Photo).

Queste sono tre tag che ho realizzato con la stessa tecnica ma con diverse tinte di Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves e Vintage Photo).

I really like this technique and this Rose Bloom stamp just makes it easier because the shadows are drawn. A tag is perfect if you want to watercolor something without spending too much time!

Mi è davvero piaciuta questa tecnica e questo timbro Rose Bloom la rende molto più semplice, visto che ha le ombre già tracciate. Una tag è perfetta se vuoi acquarellare qualcosa senza spenderci troppo tempo!

You're Amazing

Hi stampers! This time I decided to challenge myself using Snarky stamps from So Suzy Stamps.

I understand that someone could get offended, so I warn you: this card is quite irriverent, dedicated to all those people in our life who are not sensitive or reasonable. Or friends with sense of humour.
First of all, I decided to split the sentiment: the first part onto the front panel, the second one inside.

Ciao creative! Questa volta mi sono superata, sfidandomi ad usare dei timbri "Snarky" di So Suzy Stamps. Capisco che alcune di voi potrebbero sentirsi offese, per cui vi avviso: questa card è abbastanza irriverente, dedicata a tutte quelle persone nella nostra vista che non mostrano sensibilità o ragionevolezza. O ad amici con un ottimo senso dell'umorismo.
Prima di tutto, ho deciso di dividere a metà la scritta: la prima parte sul pannello frontale, la seconda parte all'interno.


I stamped the Line Flower from So Suzy Stamps onto a piece of white cardstock and masked it with a post-it tape. I took the Jo's Bubbles stencil, placed the biggest circle in the center and sponged a bit of Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.

Ho timbrato il timbro Line Flower di So Suzy Stamps su del cartoncino bianco e l'ho mascherato con un post-it. Ho preso lo stencil Jo's Bubbles, ho posizionato il cerchio più grande al centro e ho iniziato a sfumare i Distress Inks Shabby Shutters e Mowed Lawn.


Then I removed the mask and I stamped the first part of the sentiment onto the front panel, adding three dots at the end of the phrase.

Poi ho rimosso la maschera e ho timbrato la prima parte della scritta sul pannello frontale, aggiungendo tre puntini di sospensione alla fine della frase.


Then I coloured the flower with my promarkers, using pink hues. Some little Nuvo Drops as final touches.
And the inside?

Poi ho colorato il fiore con i miei promarkers, usando sfumature di rosa. Un po' di Nuvo Drops come tocco finale.
E l'interno?


I stamped the second part of the sentiment, adding a grass at the bottom using a paper die cut as a stencil.
I'm both sweet and ironic: probably making snarky cards is not "sharing kindness", but it's funny and helps you to cross your comfort zone... you should try!
And So Suzy Stamps has a gorgeous selection of Snarky stamps - with common sense too! -.

Ho timbrato la seconda parte della scritta all'interno, aggiungendo dell'erba nella parte inferiore usando un fustellato di carta come se fosse uno stencil.
Sono una persona sia dolce che ironica: probabilmente fare card irriverenti non è "condividere gentilezza", ma è divertente e aiuta ad uscire dalla propria "comfort zone"... per cui dovreste provare!
E So Suzy Stamps ha una fantastica selezione di timbri "Snarky" - anche con buon senso! -.
