Hello stampers! February is a foiled month, since Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps is collaborating with Rinea and her foiled papers! So this is the first of 3 projects that I will create with metallic paper this month: this one is something different for me - a sort of vintage/shabby card with a touch of gold and tridimensional embellishments.
Ciao amici! Febbraio è un mese particolare, visto che Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps collabora con Rinea e la sua carta metallizzata! Per cui questo è il primo di 3 progetti che creerò con un po' di foil, durante il mese: questa card in particolare è qualcosa di davvero diverso per me - dall'aspetto vintage al tocco dorato, senza contare gli abbellimenti tridimensionali.
First I chose a golden paper and I dry embossed it with the Big Shot machine. Then I took a piece of white paper and I die cut a frame from it.
Prima di tutto ho scelto della carta dorata e l'ho embossata con un embossing folder e la Big Shot. Poi ho preso del cartoncino bianco e ho fustellato una cornice.
At this point I picked a patterned paper, an embossed sentiment by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and a die cut butterfly. As you can see, no coloring at all in this card - only a little bit of stamping! I decided to add a 3D flower too.
In seguito ho preso della carta patterned, un sentiment embossato di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps e una farfalla fustellata. Come potete vedere, nessuna colorazione - e anche l'uso dei timbri è ridotto! Ho deciso anche di aggiungere un fiore 3D.
Before fixing everything, I distressed the edges of the panel and the frame with a touch of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. Then I used both regular tape and foam tape to build up my card.
Prima di incollare il tutto, ho distressato i bordi del pannello e della cornice con un po' di Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. Poi ho utilizzato sia del biadesivo normale che gommato per mettere insieme la card.
