A wizard is here
Hi there! What about a spooky but cute card? Well, for today's project I chose the Bandit Wizard by Whimsy Stamps and I decided to create a night scene with lots of Halloween colors. First of all, I printed the digi on white cardstock, colored it with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. I tried to give it a bit of interest by coloring the moon on its stick as if it was glowing in the dark. In fact I put a bit of highlights on the face and on the hat of the racoon with a yellow pencil.
Ciao! Cosa ne pensate di card spaventevoli, ma dall'animo tenero? Beh, per la card di oggi ho scelto il digi Bandit Wizard di Whimsy Stamps e ho deciso di creare una scena notturna con molti colori legati ad Halloween. Prima di tutto, ho stampato l'immagine su del cartoncino bianco, l'ho colorata con le matite Prismacolor e l'ho ritagliata. Ho provato ad aggiungere un po' di interesse colorando la luna alla sommità del bastone come se stesse brillando al buio. Infatti, ho posizionato dei punti luce sul muso e sul cappello del procione grazie alla matita gialla.
I put the image on top of a black cardstock, on which I blended a bit of Scattered Straw Distress Oxide to add a halo all around the moon, intensifying it with a pencil too. To finish the card I added a piece of green cardstock on which I blended some Black Soot Distress Ink at the edges, then I die cut it with a border die. Finally I framed the panel with a yellow cardstock and glued everything on a purple one.
Ho posizionato l'immagine su del cartoncino nero, su cui ho sfumato un pochina di Distress Oxide Scattered Straw per aggiungere un alone magico intorno alla luna, intensificandolo anche con una matita. Per concludere ho aggiunto del cartoncino verde scuro, su cui ho sfumato del Distress Ink Black Soot ai bordi, poi l'ho fustellato per creare l'erba su cui poggia l'animaletto. Infine ho incorniciato il pannello centrale con del cartoncino giallo ed ho incollato il tutto su uno viola.
