Hello stampers! Today is a special day: the spring has sprung in So Suzy Stamps, so the DT is having a little blog hop celebrating the season with floral stamps - which are actually on sale in the shop! This time I decided to put aside the coloring, so I used the solid ranunculus stamp and I created a really simple card with a touch of gold.

Oggi è un giorno speciale: la primavera è sbocciata da So Suzy Stamps, così il DT ha deciso di mettere insieme un piccola Blog Hop per celebrare la stagione con un'esplosione di timbri floreali - che sono attualmente in saldo nello shop! Questa volta ho deciso di mettere da parte la colorazione e ho utilizzato il ranuncolo "pieno" per creare una card molto semplice, con un tocco d'oro.

First I stamped a couple of ranunculus with So Suzy Stamps Ink Bites (in Petunia Pink and Wild Watermelon) and I fussy cut them.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato un paio di ranuncoli con gli Ink Bites di So Suzy Stamps (in Petunia Pink e Wild Watermelon). Poi ho ritagliato il tutto.


Then I took two strips of gold foil and patterned paper, with a piece of white cardstock. 
At this point I arranged everything on a card base, adding a sentiment that means "best wishes" and 3 green lines as stems.

In seguito ho preso due strisce di cartoncino dorato e di carta decorata, insieme a del cartoncino bianco. A questo punto ho messo insieme la card, sistemando le cose su una base bianca, aggiungendo una scritta che significa "best wishes"e 3 linee verdi come steli.


This is the final result: original, simple and great for any occasion!

Hello cardmakers! Today I'm sharing my latest card for So Suzy Stamps: I really wanted to use pastels and leftovers with the Cupcake Lady designed by my friend Olesya. Her characters are so unique, so I tried to keep the card focused on the lady and create a background that would pair as well.

Buongiorno cardmakers! Oggi sono qui a condividere con voi la mia più recente creazione per So Suzy Stamps: questa volta mi sono voluta concentrare sui colori pastello e su alcuni rimasugli, abbinandoli alla Miss Cupcake disegnata dalla mia amica Olesya. I suoi personaggi sono molto originali, tanto che ho lasciato che il timbro fosse anche focus principale della card - abbinandolo ad uno sfondo che lo valorizzasse.

First I stamped the Cupcake Lady with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then I coloured it with promarker pens and fussy cut. I added some details with white and black gel pens together with a bit of Nuvo Clear Drops for the eyes.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato Miss Cupcake con dell'inchiostro Memento, poi l'ho colorata con i promarker e ritagliata. Ho aggiunto alcuni dettagli con le penne nera e bianca, insieme con un poco di Nuvo Clear Drops per dare risalto agli occhi.

At this point I looked for leftovers in my stash: I found two strips of patterned paper and a paper doily. Then I cut a panel of kraft cardstock and a white circle, on which I stamped the sentiment. Finally I fixed everything on a cardbase, adding Nuvo Drops here and there in light blue and white.

A questo punto ho cercato alcuni ritagli di vecchi progetti: ho trovato due strisce di card pattern e un centrino di carta. Ho preso un pannello di cartoncino kraft e un cerchio bianco, su cui ho timbrato l'augurio. Infine ho incollato il tutto sulla base, aggiungendo Nuvo Drops in azzurro e bianco.


I love how it turned out, especially for the color palette I decided to use! I hope that you like it too!

Hi stampers! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy card, with a lot of stamping and no coloring at all, combining old and new stamps from So Suzy Stamps. I loved at first sight Buck and Doe, the reindeer and the deer available also in a set f 2. They are solid and quite small, so I really wanted to frame them with a geometric shape.

The color combination I used is unconventional for my go-to Christmas card, but I really think that gold and aquamarine colors work well together.

Ciao a tutti! Torno a condividere una card semplice e veloce, realizzata con timbri So Suzy Stamps - combinando quelli della nuova release a qualcosa di meno recente - e senza alcun tipo di colorazione. Mi sono subito innamorata di Buck and Doe, la renna e il cerbiatto disponibili anche in un unico set. Sono timbri solidi e piuttosto piccoli, che ho subito desiderato inquadrare e incorniciare in forma geometrica.

La combinazione di colori che ho utilizzato è piuttosto particolare rispetto al solito (di solito l'acquamarina mi piace abbinarla all'argento o al bianco), ma penso che un po' di oro non ci stia affatto male.

For my step by step I only share a single photo: as I wrote, nothing fancy here. I picked a piece of white cardstock and I used it as my front panel. I stamped a couple of pine branches with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink, then I die cut a squared frame from some gold paper, I stamped Buck and Doe with Hero Arts Ombré Ink (Tide Pool to Navy) and fussy cut.

Ho fatto solo una foto al procedimento perché è tutto davvero molto semplice. Ho preso del cartoncino bianco, ho timbrato un paio di rami di pino con del Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio, poi ho fustellato una cornice quadrata con del cartoncino dorato, ho timbrato Buck and Doe con dell'Ombré Ink della Hero Arts (Tide Pool to Navy), infine ho ritagliato le due figure.

At this point, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom edge and sticked all the pieces with a bit of foam tape. To finish my card, I added a huge amount of Nuvo Drops and that's all!

This card would be great also in brown, in red or in so many other color combinations - and it's also a great layout to mass-produce.

A questo punto, ho timbrato la scritta e incollato cornice e animaletti con del nastro gommato. Per finire, ho aggiunto un bel po' di Nuvo Drops!

Questa card si presta a tantissime varianti (marrone e rosso, giusto per dirne un paio), ed è anche perfetta per la produzione seriale.

I was very inspired while I was creating this card, so I forgot to take photos of step-by-step... but I can tell you that it's totally unnecessary.

Ero molto ispirata mentre stavo creando questa card, per cui ammetto di essermi scordata di scattare le foto per le mie istruzioni step-by-step... ma vi garantisco che non sono assolutamente necessarie.

First of all, I stamped the Christmas Lights three times with Memento Black Ink and I colored them with my promarkers. I fussy cut the lights, extending the string on the edges with a marker, and added Nuvo Clear Crystal Drops. 

While they were drying, I cut out a black cardbase and I heat embossed the Joy by Terri sentiment. Then I cut out 2 strips of white cardstock and I glued them down on the two sides of the base. 

At this point I fixed the 3 strings of lights and added some white dots all around with a white gel pen.

Minimum supplies, quick and easy card, discounts... what else?!

Anzitutto ho timbrato tre volte le Luci Natalizie con dell'inchiostro Memento e le ho colorate con i miei promarker. Ho ritagliato le luci, allungando la corda sui bordi con un pennarello a punta fine, ed ho aggiunto del Nuvo Clear Crystal Drops.

Mentre stavano asciugando, ho tagliato una base di cartoncino nero e ho embossato la scritta Joy by Terri. Poi ho tagliato 2 strisce di cartoncino bianco e le ho incollato su entrambi i lati della base. A questo punto ho fissato le tre corde con le lucine e ho aggiunto un po' di punti bianchi intorno con una penna gel bianca.

Poco materiale, card facile e veloce, sconti... cosa chiedere di più?

Hi! I'm still enjoying the August release from So Suzy Stamps making a quick and easy card: you only need a Distress Oxide of your choice, a couple of stamps and a black ink.

Continuo a divertirmi con la nuova release di So Suzy Stamps: ho creato una card facile e veloce, per cui servono solo un Distress Oxide a scelta, un paio di timbri e dell'inchiostro nero.

I started by creating my own background: I picked up my Broken China Distress Oxide and I sponged it in the middle of a piece of regular cardstock. After applying some layers of ink, I let it dry and I sprinkled some drops of water.

Prima di tutto mi sono concentrata sullo sfondo: ho preso il mio Distress Oxide Broken China e l'ho applicato al centro di un cartoncino bianco. Dopo aver aggiunto diversi strati di inchiostro, ho lasciato asciugare e ho spruzzato delle gocce d'acqua.

At this point I grabbed my MISTI and I stamped the two clusters of solid butterflies - both the smaller and the bigger ones- few times, using Versafine Black Ink. 

Thanks to the MISTI, I could stamp the same images 2 or 3 times for achieving a better impression.

A questo punto ho preso il MISTI e ho timbrato i due gruppi di farfalle - sia il piccolo che il grande - più volte, usando il Versafine nero. Grazie al MISTI, ho potuto timbrare le stesse immagini anche 3 volte, così da ottenere una stampata migliore.

I added the sentiment from previous releases with the same ink and I added a touch of Wink of stella on the wings of the butterflies.

Ho aggiunto la scritta di una precedente release con lo stesso inchiostro e ho aggiunto un tocco di Wink of stella sulle ali delle farfalle.

This is a close-up of the dreamy effect of the panel, which I really love. I think it could be a great layout for sympathy cards too - never easy to made, for me. Hope that you like it - I swear, only 15 minutes needed!

Ecco un dettaglio dell'effetto trasognato della card, che mi piace davvero molto. Penso che sarebbe un fantastico layout anche per una card di condoglianze - mai semplice da fare, almeno per me. Spero che vi piaccia - e lo giuro, bastano 15 minuti!

At this point I picked up a green paper with polka dots but I needed something extra to make the flowers pop a bit more. Instead of using ribbon, twine or geometric dies, I decided to create a small envelope with my Envelope Punch Board. On one side, I stamped the last part of the sentiment.

Now that all my elements were ready, I glued down the patterned paper on a card base and set the bouquet as if was going out the envelope. I used some 3D foam tape for the single tulip, in order to give some dimension.

A questo punto ho scelto una carta color verde, ma mi sono anche accorta che avrei avuto bisogno di qualcosa di più per far risaltare i fiori. Invece di utilizzare nastri, twine o fustellate geometriche, ho optato per una piccola busta realizzata con l'Envelope Punch Board. Da un lato, ho stampato l'ultima parte della scritta.
Ora che tutti i miei elementi erano pronti, ho incollato la carta decorativa sulla base e fissato il bouquet come se stesse uscendo dalla busta. Ho usato del nastro gommato per il singolo tulipano, per dare tridimensionalità al tutto.

They are new, but almost everyone knows what Distress Oxides are. 

As usual I needed time to decide to buy them - and which colors as well. Finally I chose two pads from So Suzy Stamps shop: Broken China (the first Distress Ink I purchased years ago) and Walnut Stain (never had as Distress Ink). This is my first attempt with Oxides and the theme for my card is, obviously, "magic".

Sono nuovi, ma quasi tutti sanno già cosa sono i Distress Oxides.
Come sempre mi ci è voluto tempo per decidere di comprarli - e, oltretutto, su che colori concentrarmi. Alla fine ne ho scelti due dallo shop di So Suzy Stamps: Broken China (il primo Distress Ink che ho acquistato in assoluto anni fa) e Walnut Stain (mai utilizzato come Distress Ink). Questo è il mio primissimo tentativo con gli Oxide ed il tema per la card è, ovviamente, "magia".

I started by blending Broken China and Walnut Stain Distress Oxides: I put a lot of pigment onto a piece of watercolor paper, beginning from the center to the border. When I was satisfied, I sprinkled some waterdrops onto the paper, let them react with the inks and set aside to dry.

Ho cominciato applicando i due Oxides Broken China e Walnut Stain, lasciando sul foglio di carta acquarellabile un bel po' di pigmento, partendo dal centro e proseguendo sui bordi. Quando sono rimasta soddisfatta del risultato, ho spruzzato un po' d'acqua sul foglio, ho lasciato che reagisse con gli inchiostri e ho lasciato asciugare.

Then I picked some new stuff you can find on So Suzy Stamps Shop: the Sugar Glitter Paste and the "Oh my Stars" stickable stencil from BoBunny. I set the stencil on the top left corner of the paper and I added glitter paste on some of the stars, as the fairy was sending them from the right corner of the card. Next I cleaned up the stencil and I let the paste dry.

In seguito ho utilizzato un po' di nuove cosine che si possono trovare nel negozio di So Suzy Stamps: la pasta glitterata "sugar" e lo stencil "Oh my Stars" entrambi di BoBunny. Ho posizionato lo stencil nell'angolo in alto e ho aggiunto la pasta glitterata su alcune stelle, come se la fata le stesse inviando dall'angolo opposto della card. Ho ripulito lo stencil e ho lasciato asciugare.

Finally I stamped the Dancing Fairy from So Suzy Stamps multiple times with Versafine Black Ink. As final touches, I added some dots all around the stars with white gel pen. This is the final result: so clean but so cool, right? And yes, I love how Oxides look!

Infine ho stampato la Fata Danzante di So Suzy Stamps diverse volte con del Versafine nero. Come tocco finale, ho aggiunto dei puntini tutt'intorno alle stelle con una penna bianca. Questo è il risultato finale: così pulito ma così bello, vero? Eh sì, adoro come gli Oxides rimangono impressi su carta!

And what about the shimmer of the glitter paste? It seems that this fairy is surrounded by shooting stars!

E cosa dire della brillantezza della pasta glitterata? Sembra proprio che questa fatina sia circondata da stelle cadenti!
