Hello stampers! Today is a special day: the spring has sprung in So Suzy Stamps, so the DT is having a little blog hop celebrating the season with floral stamps - which are actually on sale in the shop! This time I decided to put aside the coloring, so I used the solid ranunculus stamp and I created a really simple card with a touch of gold.

Oggi è un giorno speciale: la primavera è sbocciata da So Suzy Stamps, così il DT ha deciso di mettere insieme un piccola Blog Hop per celebrare la stagione con un'esplosione di timbri floreali - che sono attualmente in saldo nello shop! Questa volta ho deciso di mettere da parte la colorazione e ho utilizzato il ranuncolo "pieno" per creare una card molto semplice, con un tocco d'oro.

First I stamped a couple of ranunculus with So Suzy Stamps Ink Bites (in Petunia Pink and Wild Watermelon) and I fussy cut them.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato un paio di ranuncoli con gli Ink Bites di So Suzy Stamps (in Petunia Pink e Wild Watermelon). Poi ho ritagliato il tutto.


Then I took two strips of gold foil and patterned paper, with a piece of white cardstock. 
At this point I arranged everything on a card base, adding a sentiment that means "best wishes" and 3 green lines as stems.

In seguito ho preso due strisce di cartoncino dorato e di carta decorata, insieme a del cartoncino bianco. A questo punto ho messo insieme la card, sistemando le cose su una base bianca, aggiungendo una scritta che significa "best wishes"e 3 linee verdi come steli.


This is the final result: original, simple and great for any occasion!

Hello cardmakers! Today I'm sharing my latest card for So Suzy Stamps: I really wanted to use pastels and leftovers with the Cupcake Lady designed by my friend Olesya. Her characters are so unique, so I tried to keep the card focused on the lady and create a background that would pair as well.

Buongiorno cardmakers! Oggi sono qui a condividere con voi la mia più recente creazione per So Suzy Stamps: questa volta mi sono voluta concentrare sui colori pastello e su alcuni rimasugli, abbinandoli alla Miss Cupcake disegnata dalla mia amica Olesya. I suoi personaggi sono molto originali, tanto che ho lasciato che il timbro fosse anche focus principale della card - abbinandolo ad uno sfondo che lo valorizzasse.

First I stamped the Cupcake Lady with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then I coloured it with promarker pens and fussy cut. I added some details with white and black gel pens together with a bit of Nuvo Clear Drops for the eyes.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato Miss Cupcake con dell'inchiostro Memento, poi l'ho colorata con i promarker e ritagliata. Ho aggiunto alcuni dettagli con le penne nera e bianca, insieme con un poco di Nuvo Clear Drops per dare risalto agli occhi.

At this point I looked for leftovers in my stash: I found two strips of patterned paper and a paper doily. Then I cut a panel of kraft cardstock and a white circle, on which I stamped the sentiment. Finally I fixed everything on a cardbase, adding Nuvo Drops here and there in light blue and white.

A questo punto ho cercato alcuni ritagli di vecchi progetti: ho trovato due strisce di card pattern e un centrino di carta. Ho preso un pannello di cartoncino kraft e un cerchio bianco, su cui ho timbrato l'augurio. Infine ho incollato il tutto sulla base, aggiungendo Nuvo Drops in azzurro e bianco.


I love how it turned out, especially for the color palette I decided to use! I hope that you like it too!

Let's Celebrate

They are new, but almost everyone knows what Distress Oxides are. 

As usual I needed time to decide to buy them - and which colors as well. Finally I chose two pads from So Suzy Stamps shop: Broken China (the first Distress Ink I purchased years ago) and Walnut Stain (never had as Distress Ink). This is my first attempt with Oxides and the theme for my card is, obviously, "magic".

Sono nuovi, ma quasi tutti sanno già cosa sono i Distress Oxides.
Come sempre mi ci è voluto tempo per decidere di comprarli - e, oltretutto, su che colori concentrarmi. Alla fine ne ho scelti due dallo shop di So Suzy Stamps: Broken China (il primo Distress Ink che ho acquistato in assoluto anni fa) e Walnut Stain (mai utilizzato come Distress Ink). Questo è il mio primissimo tentativo con gli Oxide ed il tema per la card è, ovviamente, "magia".

I started by blending Broken China and Walnut Stain Distress Oxides: I put a lot of pigment onto a piece of watercolor paper, beginning from the center to the border. When I was satisfied, I sprinkled some waterdrops onto the paper, let them react with the inks and set aside to dry.

Ho cominciato applicando i due Oxides Broken China e Walnut Stain, lasciando sul foglio di carta acquarellabile un bel po' di pigmento, partendo dal centro e proseguendo sui bordi. Quando sono rimasta soddisfatta del risultato, ho spruzzato un po' d'acqua sul foglio, ho lasciato che reagisse con gli inchiostri e ho lasciato asciugare.

Then I picked some new stuff you can find on So Suzy Stamps Shop: the Sugar Glitter Paste and the "Oh my Stars" stickable stencil from BoBunny. I set the stencil on the top left corner of the paper and I added glitter paste on some of the stars, as the fairy was sending them from the right corner of the card. Next I cleaned up the stencil and I let the paste dry.

In seguito ho utilizzato un po' di nuove cosine che si possono trovare nel negozio di So Suzy Stamps: la pasta glitterata "sugar" e lo stencil "Oh my Stars" entrambi di BoBunny. Ho posizionato lo stencil nell'angolo in alto e ho aggiunto la pasta glitterata su alcune stelle, come se la fata le stesse inviando dall'angolo opposto della card. Ho ripulito lo stencil e ho lasciato asciugare.

Finally I stamped the Dancing Fairy from So Suzy Stamps multiple times with Versafine Black Ink. As final touches, I added some dots all around the stars with white gel pen. This is the final result: so clean but so cool, right? And yes, I love how Oxides look!

Infine ho stampato la Fata Danzante di So Suzy Stamps diverse volte con del Versafine nero. Come tocco finale, ho aggiunto dei puntini tutt'intorno alle stelle con una penna bianca. Questo è il risultato finale: così pulito ma così bello, vero? Eh sì, adoro come gli Oxides rimangono impressi su carta!

And what about the shimmer of the glitter paste? It seems that this fairy is surrounded by shooting stars!

E cosa dire della brillantezza della pasta glitterata? Sembra proprio che questa fatina sia circondata da stelle cadenti!

Hi guys! Summer is here... and what could I celebrate after ice-cream? The sea and its creatures, of course!

So I'm sharing this card with the adorable octopus from So Suzy Stamps, which I had in my stash for a long time. It has great dimension, so I wanted to keep it as main focus of my card.

Ciao ragazzi! L'estate è qui... e cosa avrei potuto festeggiare, dopo i gelati? Il mare e le sue creature, ovviamente!

Per cui condivido questa card con l'adorabile polpo di So Suzy Stamps, che avevo ormai da un po'. Ha una dimensione non indifferente, così ho deciso di tenerlo come focus principale della card.

I started by blending a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Inks - from the top: Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I let it dry and I sprinkled some water drops to give more interest to the underwater background.

Ho cominciato applicando su della carta per acquarello tre Distress Inks - dall'alto: Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers e Salty Ocean. Ho lasciato asciugare e ho spruzzato delle gocce d'acqua per dare più dettagli allo sfondo subacqueo.

Next I stamped Pluto the octopus with Versafine Black ink and I sponged it with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, adding Chipped Sapphire for the shadows and white dots with a gel pen.

Poi ho timbrato Pluto il polpo con del Versafine nero e l'ho colorato con del Distress Ink Seedless Preserves, aggiungendo anche del Chipped Sapphire per le ombre e punti bianco con la penna gel.

Then I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment at the bottom of the panel. I fixed Pluto with an action wooble and at this point I decided to add a couple of googly eyes to make the octopus funny.

Finally I glued down this piece onto a white cardbase, and that's all.

Successivamente ho timbrato l'augurio "Happy Birthday" nella parte bassa del pannello. Ho incollato Pluto con una molla e a questo punto ho deciso di renderlo più divertente aggiungendo un paio di occhietti dinamici. Infine ho incollato il tutto su una base per biglietti bianca.

Hello my friends!

Summer is here and it's finally time to eat ice-creams... a lot of ice-creams! So I chose this yummy stamp from So Suzy Stamps to make a bright shaker card.

L'estate è arrivata ed è finalmente tempo di mangiare gelati… una scorpacciata di gelati! Per cui ho scelto questo timbro delizioso di So Suzy Stamps per realizzare una shaker card dai colori brillanti.

I started by picking a piece of white cardstock and a stencil. I grabbed Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and I started to blend it from the center.

Ho cominciato prendendo del cartoncino bianco e uno stencil. Ho utilizzato il Distress Ink "Cracked Pistachio" e ho cominciato ad aggiungere colore dal centro del foglio con il blending tool.

Then I die cut one ring from white cardstock and two from crafty foam, that would be the base of my shaker. I die cut also a circle from acetate, plus I stamped the sentiment. I was thinking about deleting the word "cupcakes" and adding "ice-cream"... maybe next time!

Poi ho fustellato 3 anelli: uno partendo dal cartoncino bianco, altri due da dei fogli gommati. Questa è la base della parte "shaker", con l'aggiunta di un cerchio in acetato. Ho timbrato l'augurio, che stavo pensando di modificare: cancellare la parola "cupcakes" per aggiungere "ice cream"… magari la prossima volta!

At this point I filled the window with glitters and tiny beads and glue all onto the front panel. Finally I stamped and coloured two different ice-creams with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and I tried some no-line coloring with promarkers. I decided to use only the larger one, on which I added some Clear Nuvo Crystal Drops on top.

A questo punto ho riempito la finestra con glitter e piccoli beads, incollando il tutto sul pannello della card. Infine ho timbrato due diversi gelati con il Distress Ink "Antique Linen", e ho provato la tecnica della colorazione "no-line" con i promarkers. Ho deciso di utilizzare solo quello più grande, su cui ho applicato uno strato di Nuvo Crystal Drops trasparente.

Hello crafty friends! Before celebrating summer, I have one last card - but I can't promise - with flowers from So Suzy Stamps.

I really wanted to create something on black to achieve an elegant result without using metallic pigments. So I decided to build up my own field of violet Olesya Blooms, with white dots and black background.

Ciao a tutti! Prima di tuffarci nella stagione estiva, ho un'ultima card florale - ma non faccio promesse a riguardo! - per So Suzy Stamps.

Avevo davvero voglia di creare qualcosa su nero, per ottenere un risultato elegante senza utilizzare pigmenti metallici. Per cui ho deciso di realizzare il mio personalissimo campo di fiori viola - scegliendo uno di quelli disegnati da Olesya - con puntini bianchi e sfondo nero.

I started from white cardstock. I stamped the flower multiple times, using black Memento Ink and masking paper.

Tutto ha avuto inizio con del cartoncino bianco. Ho timbrato i fiori più e più volte, sovrapponendoli. Ho utilizzato del Memento nero e i fogli adesivi per il masking.

Then I took 4 different shades of violet markers and I coloured my images petal by petal. Next I covered all the white spaces between them with a black marker. I added more details with my white gel pen, in the center of each flower.

Ho scelto poi 4 pennarelli di diverse gradazioni di viola ed ho cominciato a colorare, petalo dopo petalo. In seguito ho ricoperto tutti gli spazi bianchi con un pennarello nero, aggiungendo dettagli con la penna bianca, al centro di ogni fiore.

At this point I die cut 2 squares, one bigger than the other. I stamped the quote by Chanel onto the white one and I fixed all together adding white ribbon in between.

A questo punto ho fustellato 2 quadrati, un più grande dell'altro. Ho timbrato la frase di Chanel su quello bianco e ho incollato tutto insieme, inserendo un nastro bianco.

I love bright color cards, but I like to challenge myself with different color combination... and this one really makes me satisfied!

Adoro le card con colori brillanti, ma mi piace mettermi alla prova con diverse combinazioni di colore... e questa card mi soddisfa pienamente!

Hi crafty friends! Today I mixed new and old stamps from So Suzy Stamps: the idea was to make an elegant card overlapping a lot of techniques, such as stenciling, embossing, stamping and cutting.

Ciao amici! Oggi ho deciso di mettere insieme un po' di timbri nuovi e vecchi di So Suzy Stamps: l'idea era quella di creare una card elegante, sovrapponendo diverse tecniche, utilizzando stencil, embossing a caldo, timbri e ritagli.

First of all, I stamped a bunch of solid Ranunculus with the Hero Arts Ombré Ink pad and I cut them all. Then I picked the Beech Line Leaf, inked it with Versamark and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I repeated the process few times.

Prima di tutto, ho timbrato un po' di ranuncoli con l'inchiostro Hero Arts effetto Ombré e li ho ritagliati tutti. Poi ho preso la foglia, l'ho timbrata con del Versamark e l'ho embossata in oro. Ho ripetuto questa operazione più volte.

At this point, as I decided to use a black card base, I was thinking about a black banner for the sentiment. I wasn't sure at all and at the end I preferred to stamp the "Simple Love You" sentiment on white with the same Ombré Ink I used for the ranunculus.

A questo punto, avendo deciso di usare del nero come base, stavo pensando di abbinare una striscia di cartoncino nero per l'augurio. Non ero per nulla sicura ed alla fine ho preferito stampare la scritta "Simple Love You" su bianco e con lo stesso inchiostro dei ranuncoli.
