Hi there! These weeks are very busy and my mojo seems to be on holiday too... so I'm trying to find the time to use something different in order to inspire the creativity process.

For this card I used Perfect Pearls for the first time. Since I have to practice using them as they are, I decided to try as watercolors. I only own the "Interference Green" one, so I combined it with the couple of leaves from the latest So Suzy Stamps release.

Ciao a tutti! Queste settimane sono davvero molto impegnative - penso di averlo già scritto...- e l'ispirazione sembra essersi presa una vacanza... per cui ho cercato di rinvigorire il processo creativo prendendomi del tempo per sperimentare nuovi prodotti (chiusi nel cassetto da un po').
Per questa card ho utilizzato per la prima volta Perfect Pearls. Visto che devo fare pratica, ho deciso di utilizzarli come se fossero acquarelli. Possiedo solo la sfumatura "Interference Green", per cui ho deciso di abbinarla alla coppia di foglie dell'ultima release di So Suzy Stamps.


This card has an amazing dark and iridescent look - I know it's finally spring, but I love challenges and I really like how this turned out.
First of all, I stamped a bunch of leaves onto a piece of black cardstock with Versamark Ink in order to heat emboss them with clear embossing powder.

Questa card ha un meraviglioso aspetto dark e iridescente - so che finalmente è arrivata la primavera, ma adoro le sfide, mi sentivo di creare una card più autunnale e adoro il risultato ottenuto.
Prima di tutto, ho stampato un po' di foglie su del cartoncino nero con del Versamark, allo scopo di embossarle con della polvere trasparente.


At this point I took a bit of Perfect Pearl powder, I placed it on my craft mat, I sprinkled some drops of water on it and I mixed the pigment and the water with a make-up brush. At this point I covered the leaves with a generous amount of wet pigment and I let them dry completely.


I cut them out and I blended some Black Soot Distress Ink all over the edges.

Le ho ritagliate e ho sfumato i contorni con del Distress Ink Black Soot.


Then I took a piece of grey textured cardstock, I deepened up the borders with a bit of Black Soot as well and I heat embossed the "Simple Be You" sentiment in black.
At the end I only needed to fix the leaves to the cardstock with glue and admire how beautifully they shine!

Poi ho preso del cartoncino grigio, ho scurito i bordi con del Black Soot e ho embossato l'augurio "Simple Be You".
Alla fine ho solo dovuto incollare le foglie sul cartoncino ed ammirarne lo splendore!


I really love the elegant and melancholic look of this card, as well as the metallic shine of the leaves: I just want to buy more colors of Perfect Pearls right now!

Sono davvero soddisfatta dell'aspetto elegante e melanconico di questa card, così come della lucentezza metallica delle foglie: mi sa proprio che dovrò comprare altre Perfect Pearls!

Hello! I'm having a lot of fun by exploring the So Suzy Stamps April Release: I just want to try out all the new stamps with different techniques.

Today I'm sharing this card made with the brand-new Olesya Side Bloom stamp designed by my teammate Olesya. I love the line of her stamps: they look so neat and detailed!

Ciao a tutti! Mi sto divertendo molto ad esplorare l'ultima release di So Suzy Stamps: voglio proprio provare tutti i nuovi timbri, valorizzandoli con tecniche diverse.
Oggi condivido con voi questa card, realizzata con il nuovissimo timbro Olesya Side Bloom disegnato dalla mia compagna di DT Olesya. Adoro come utilizza la linea nei suoi timbri: sono così puliti e dettagliati!

First of all I picked a piece of white cardstock and I stamped the blooms arranging them in a circle and using post-it tapes to mask the stamped areas - before stamping, I drew two circles with a pencil to be sure about the composition. In this case I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink because I wanted to color with promarkers.

Per prima cosa ho preso del cartoncino bianco e ho stampato un sacco di fiori, disponendoli in cerchio ed utilizzando dei post-it per mascherare le aree stampate - prima di fare ciò, ho disegnato un paio di cerchi con una matita per essere sicura sulla composizione. Ho scelto l'inchiostro nero Memento perché avrei utilizzato i promarkers.

Then I stamped the "Miss You" sentiment inside the cluster and I coloured the flowers by blending three different shades of pink.

At this point I changed my mind: my first idea was making a one-layer card, but I thought that I had too much white here.

Poi ho timbrato la scritta "Miss You" all'interno della ghirlanda ed ho colorato i fiori con 3 diverse sfumature di rosa.
A questo punto ho cambiato idea: all'inizio pensavo di creare una one-layer card, ma ho poi pensato che tutto quel bianco non funzionasse.

I picked a piece of kraft cardstock, I decided where the sentiment should be, I stamped it with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I glued down the cluster with foam tape and I added a lot of white dots with a white gel pen all around the images.

Infine ho preso del cartoncino kraft, ho deciso dove posizionare la scritta, l'ho stampata con del Versamark Ink e l'ho embossata con della polvere bianca. Ho fissato la ghirlanda di fiori con del nastro gommato ed ho aggiunto moltissimi puntini bianchi tutto intono con la penna gel.

Ciao a tutti! I festeggiamenti per la nuova release continuano oggi sul blog di So Suzy Stamps ed io ho una domanda per voi: pensate che questa sia una card "irriverente" o no?
A prima vista si direbbe di no, per cui oggi voglio farvi vedere quanto versatile può essere uno dei nuovi timbri snarky di So Suzy Stamps.

First of all, I created my own galaxy background. I made one of them here, but this time I wanted to build up my scene by blending a ton of Distress Inks - as Justine and Josefine showed in their blogs.

I picked up a bunch of Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves) and I sponged them here and there onto a piece of watercolor paper.

Prima di tutto, ho creato il mio sfondo a galassia. Ne avevo già fatto uno qui, ma questa volta ho voluto costruire la mia scena attraverso i Distess Inks - come Justine e Josefine hanno mostrato nei loro blog.
Ho preso una serie di Distress (Chipped Sapphire, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves) e li ho applicati con del blending tool su un foglio di carta acquarellabile.

At this point I grabbed the Black Soot Distress Ink and I covered up all the surface. Then I sponged again some colors in order to make them pop a little more, I sprinkled some water and, once it dried, I sprinkled a bit of white acrilic paint too.

Notice: finish your project before saying "I don't like it, I'll throw it away". In fact, it seems like a galaxy only at the end of the process.

A questo punto ho preso il Distress Ink Black Soot e ho coperto tutta la superficie colorata in precedenza. Poi ho applicato ancora un poco di colore per farlo risaltare di più, ho spruzzato dell'acqua e, una volta che il tutto era asciutto, anche della pittura acrilica bianca.

Un appunto: finite il vostro progetto prima di dire "Non mi piace, lo butto via". Infatti assomiglierà ad una galassia solo alla fine di tutto il procedimento.

Come ultima cosa ho embossato la stella bianca. Ho cercato di sfruttare al massimo i timbri a disposizione, per cui ho utilizzato il timbro Star of Bethlehem e... l'augurio.

Qui sta il divertimento: ho embossato la prima parte della scritta che dice "Sii come una stella", mentre all'interno ho aggiunto "distante e morente", con un piccolo puntino nero evocativo (ma si più anche lasciarla a metà sfruttando solo il pannello frontale, così da evitare l'irriverenza).

Mine. After a long time, a blog post that is only mine. 

Sometimes life is more complicated than playing Tetris: so much things to do (work, family, hobbies,...) and so little time. I feel so grateful for all I have, even if the organisation isn't always perfect.

Last month I was asked to create a couple of birthday cards for 2 classy women "who don't like critters!" (how could it be?!). When we talk about classy and elegant stamps, I know that "The Ton Stamps" is the right answer.

Mio. Dopo tanto tempo, un post solo mio.

A volte far combaciare tutte le tessere del puzzle (lavoro, affetti, casa, doveri da DT ed hobby) è più difficile di un Tetris. Non fraintendetemi: mi ritengo molto fortunata per quello che ho. Anche se a volte l'organizzazione ne riserte (ed io sono una grande fan della pianificazione).

Nei mesi scorsi mi sono stati chiesti un paio di biglietti di compleanno per due donne eleganti, che non amano "gli animaletti". Avevo però la soluzione a portata di mano: i timbri di The Ton Stamps.

I already collaborated with The Ton and their stamps are simply amazing: the new release is awesome, with sunflowers everywhere!

I used the Morning Glory Border Cling Background, that did half of the work: as it is a background stamp, I only needed to stamp it and add a sentiment in the center - which means "Happy Birthday".

At this point I did what relaxes me most: coloring. For the first card I used Memento Ink with promarkers, for the second one Stazon and watercolors.

Ho già avuto modo di collaborare con questa compagnia e adoro i loro timbri - manco a farlo apposta, anche la loro ultima release è spettacolare con tutti quei girasoli.

Ho utilizzato il timbro Morning Glory Border Cling Background, che praticamente fa già la metà del lavoro: essendo un timbro per sfondi, basta aggiungere un augurio centrale (io ne ho scelto uno di Modascrap) ed è fatta.

Poi ho fatto ciò che più mi rilassa: colorare. Per la prima card, timbrata con del Memento, ho utilizzato un mix di promarkers (facendomi aiutare dal blender per i punti luce); nella seconda card, ho utilizzato Stazon e acquarelli.

A me piacciono tantissimo, e so per certo che anche le destinatarie le hanno apprezzate moltissimo!

Hello my friends! Did you like the newest release from So Suzy Stamps?

I have a thing for flowers and today I decided to use one of the blooms designed by my friend Olesya with embossing and watercolors.

I chose the simple "Here for you" sentiment and I just wanted to achieve a soft look, totally inspired by Biirka's project.

Ho un debole per i fiori ed oggi ho deciso di usare uno dei fiori disegnati dalla mia amica Olesya con embossing e acquerelli.
Ho scelto il semplice augurio "Here for you" e ho voluto ottenere un effetto leggero, totalmente ispirata da questo progetto di Biirka.

First of all, I stamped a bunch of flowers (I only needed 3) with Versamark Ink on a piece of watercolor paper. Then I covered with white embossing powder and heat set them.

At this point I used my Lyra watercolor marker, I coloured the flowers with a bit of water and fussy cut them.

Prima di tutto, ho timbrato un po' di fiori (ma alla fine ne ho utilizzati solo 3) con del Versamark Ink su un foglio acquarellabile. Poi ho coperto il tutto con la polvere da embossing bainca e l'ho scaldata con il mio heat gun. A questo punto ho usato il mio pennarello acquarellabile Lyra, ho colorato i fiori con un po' di acqua e li ho ritagliati.

I die cut a rectangle from white cardstock, then I blended some Broken China Distress Ink on the bottom of the panel and I sprinkled some water to add more interest to the background.

Ho fustellato un rettangolo a partire da un cartoncino bianco, ho sfumato il Distress Ink Broken China sulla parte bassa del pannello e ho spruzzato dell'acqua per aggiungere qualcosa in più allo sfondo.

I stamped other flowers with second generation stamping technique using a grey ink. Then I stamped the sentiment in black and I arranged the watercolored flowers all around. Then I glued them down with foam tape.

Ho timbrato altri fiori con la tecnica della timbrata di seconda generazione, utilizzato un inchiostro grigio. Poi ho stampato l'augurio con un inchiostro nero e ho posizionato i fiori acquarellati tutto intorno. Poi li ho incollati con del nastro gommato.

Oggi è il gran giorno: finalmente la Release di aprile di So Suzy Stamps è disponibile!
Ci sono moltissimi fiori, scritte d'auguri...e anche qualche sorpresa. Cosa state aspettando? Scoprite i nuovi timbri, passate in rassegna tutte le creazioni del DT e lasciatevi ispirare!
Ho creato questa card romantica utilizzando uno dei nuovi fiori insieme a un timbro semplice in grassetto - e con un font bellissimo -!

First of all, I die cut two windows from a rectangle of white cardstock.

Anzitutto ho fustellato 2 finestre all'interno di un cartoncino bianco (precedentemente fustellato con una fustella rettangolare più grande).


Then I stamped a bunch of flowers with my MISTI, even using the Mirror Image Stamp from So Suzy Stamps - in case I needed some reflected images. I inked my stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black because it's promarker-friendly.
I coloured all my flowers with pink shades and I fussy cut them.

Ho poi timbrato un po' di fiori con il MISTI, perfino utilizzando il Mirror Image Stamp - nel caso avessi bisogno di immagini riflesse. Ho inchiostrato il timbro con del Memento Tuxedo Black perché è un inchiostro che non sbava con i promarkers.
Ho colorato i miei fiori con dei pennarelli dalle tinte rosa e poi li ho ritagliati.


To finish the card, I picked a white card base and I sprinkled some Tattered Rose Distress Ink on it, using a brush and a bit of water. Then I stamped the sentiment between the windows and I arrenged the flowers and fixed them with foam tape, as if they pop over the windows.

Per finire la card, ho preso una base bianca e ho spruzzato delle gocce di Distress Ink "Tattered Rose" grazie a un pennello e a un po' d'acqua. Poi ho timbrato l'augurio tra una finestra e l'altra e ho disposto ed incollato i fiori con del nastro gommato, come se sporgessero dalle finestre.


This is the final result: I hope you can notice the Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew - it dries clear! - that I added in the center of the flowers!

Questo è il risultato finale: spero che riusciate a notare le gocce di Nuvo Crystal Drops - che è trasparente - e che ho aggiunto al centro dei fiori!

Simple Thinking of You

Oggi prendo parte allo "speciale" di So Suzy Stamps dedicato al timbro Tulip Background insieme ad alcune compagne d'avventura: ci siamo focalizzate su questo bellissimo timbro e l'abbiamo usato per ispirarvi in modi molto diversi! Per cui assicuratevi di fare un giro e dare un'occhiata a tutti i progetti che condivideremo oggi!

Questa è la card che ho fatto: la primavera sta arrivando e con lei la voglia di colori, per cui ho deciso di creare una card con i colori dell'arcobaleno.

I picked up a bunch of Distress Inks - in particular: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry.

I took a piece of watercolor cardstock, on which I stamped my Tulip Background Stamp using Versamark Ink. Then I covered it with white embossing powder and heat embossed.

At this point I sponged all my Distress Inks: the embossing resists to them, so the design is totally revealed by the colors!

Ho scelto un po' di Distress Inks - in particolare: Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves e Picked Raspberry.
Ho preso anche un foglio di carta acquarellabile, su cui ho timbrato il mio sfondo usando del Versamark Ink. Poi ho coperto il tutto con della polvere da embossing bianca e ho embossato.
A questo punto ho applicato i Distress con il blending tool: l'embossing resiste, visto che il colore porta in superficie la trama bianca del design di base!

I cut out the background panel to 5 stripes in order to make it more interesting.

I wanted to leave this card simple and to have the background as my focal point, so I decided to add only a piece of vellum and a black die cut. As you can see, I die cut the word "Hello" three time and I glued them together to give more dimension.

Ho tagliato il pannello di sfondo in modo da ottenere 5 strisce.
Ho voluto lasciare la card più semplice possibile in modo da focalizzare l'attenzione sullo sfondo, per cui ho deciso di aggiungere solo un ovale in vellum e una fustellata nera. Come si può vedere, la scritta "Hello" è stata fustellata ed incollata su 3 livelli, per dare più tridimensionalità.

Finally, I added some Nuvo Drops clear onto the die cut as well as on the background.

Infine, ho aggiunto del Nuvo Drops trasparente sia sulla scritta sia sullo sfondo.
