Hello my friends! Today I made a card which I feel comfortable with: I used the Peony Lg. rubber stamp by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with the masking technique in order to make a customized background. Basically this element made the whole card, together with the coloring process - you can chose your favorite medium, or just leave it as it is!

Oggi ho realizzato una card di quelle che mi fanno sentire a mio agio, perché stanno esattamente nella mia comfort zone: ho utilizzato il timbro Peony Lg. di Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps con la tecnica del masking per realizzare uno sfondo personalizzato. Praticamente questo elemento da solo va a comporre buona parte della card, insieme al processo di colorazione - che si può evitare!
First of all, I stamped a couple of peonies on a sheet of masking paper. Then I fussy cut both of them.
Prima di tutto ho timbrato un paio di peonie su della carta per masking. Poi le ho ritagliate a filo.
At this point I took a piece of white cardstock, I stamped a couple of peonies and I kept on stamping by covering the images with the masking tape, so that I could avoid any overlay.
A questo punto ho preso del cartoncino bianco, ho timbrato un paio di peonie iniziali e ho poi continuato a timbrare su tutto il pannello, coprendo le immagini con del masking tape così da evitare qualsiasi sovrapposizione.
I chose two different color families (warm grey and orange) and I colored flowers and leaves. It's time consuming, but I love coloring during the evening with no mess at all on my desk!
Ho scelto due diverse famiglie di colori (grigi caldi e arancioni) e ho colorato fiori e foglie. E' un processo lungo, ma colorare mi rilassa...adoro farlo la sera, quando ho tempo, senza creare confusione sulla scrivania!
Once I finished with the coloring, I stamped my new favorite sentiment and I framed it with a piece of black cardstock - like I did here too.
Una volta conclusa la colorazione, ho timbrato la mia nuova scritta preferita e l'ho incorniciata con del cartoncino nero - come avevo già fatto qui.
I put everything on a cardbase and glued the sentiment on the right side with some foam tape.
Ho messo insieme il tutto, incollandolo a una base e fissando l'augurio sulla parte destra della card con del nastro gommato.
The peonies are so beautiful and easy to color a petal at a time.
Le peonie sono stupende e sono molto facili da colorare, un petalo alla volta.
