I really wanted to use the cup of coffee and one of the images that fits inside, in order to create an unconventional card for Valentine's Day. The main idea was to arrange the cup, the spoon and the sentiment as if they were by a wooden bar.

Avevo il forte desiderio di utilizzare la tazza di caffé insieme ad una delle immagini che si possono timbrare al suo interno, così da poter creare una card originale per San Valentino. L'idea era quella di organizzare il tutto - tazza, cucchiaino e augurio - come se si trovassero sopra il bancone di un bar.

First I stamped the cup of coffee onto a piece of watercolor paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, another cup on some regular cardstock and the last one on a piece of masking paper. I also stamped the spoon once.

Prima di tutto ho timbrato la tazza di caffè su della carta acquerellabile con del Memento nero, un'altra tazza su del cartoncino bianco ed un'altra ancora su della carta per masking. Ho timbrato anche un cucchiaio.

At this point I masked the cup of coffee, I picked my craft mat and I grabbed Vintage Photo and Antique Linen Distress Inks. I blended the paper with the Antique Linen and added the Vintage Photo on top of a woodgrain stencil by Tim Holtz.

A questo punto ho coperto la tazza di caffé con la sua maschera e ho tirato fuori i Distress Ink Vintage Photo e Antique Linen. Ho sfumato lo sfondo con dell'Antique Linen e ho aggiunto del Vintage Photo sopra allo stencil "effetto legno" di Tim Holtz.

Before removing the masking, I added some details with another stencil and some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. Next I colored the saucer, the spoon and the second cup with grey shades of promarkers. Then I stamped the inside of the cup with two hearts using Coffee Archival Ink. I fussy cut and fixed all down with some foam tape, adding the sentiment with black ink.

Prima di rimuovere la carta per il masking, ho aggiunto qualche dettaglio con un altro stencil e del Distress Oxide Walnut Stain. Poi ho colorato il piattino, il cucchiaio e la seconda tazza con i promarker sulle tonalità del grigio. Ho timbrato l'interno della tazza con i due cuori grazie all'Archival Ink Coffee. Ho ritagliato tutto e ho incollato i vari pezzi con del nastro gommato, timbrando l'augurio in nero.
